Bakemonogatari is just straight up pure awesome win! Intellectually funny, crude and plain hillarious, if you like any of these then give it an honest try. The verbal abuse by Senjougahara is very addicting and probably not good for your health, but who cares when it’s this much fun! There may be on 30 farmes [...]

It's the Yunyun show!Personally I wouldn't eat anything from those waters or jump into those waters.Summary:After her tango with Alphard, Canaan wanders on the streets and loses her dinner. Meanwhile, Alphard is briefing her underlings about their plans for the anti-terrorism summit. Alphard needs someone to carry out a special mission, and Liang Qi is the only volunteer. Meanwhile, Maria stayed overnight in Yunyun's boat shack and for breakfast she and Yunyun enjoy some fresh fish Yunyun caught from the sea. After breakfast, Yunyun gets ready to go to work and tells Maria to go home, but Maria wants to stay. Yunyun gives Maria a key and states that Maria is welcome to visit any time and then runs off.Expense reimbursement is not part of the contract.A short time later, Yunyun arrives in Liang Qi's office with photos of Canaan and Maria. Liang Qi tells Yunyun that her next job is to infect the Japanese delegate (who came for the anti-terrorism summit) with the UA virus. Yunyun is scared because she thinks Canaan will come and kill her, but Liang Qi tells Yunyun to go and die and Yunyun has no choice but to obey. Elsewhere, Natsume gives Canaan information on Yunyun, who is actually mutated by the UA virus.Hakkoo knows that some people like lolis.Following her order, Yunyun arrives at Santana's cosplay bar to look for a job. Santana is doubtful about Yunyun's figure, but Hakkoo and Yunyun know each other and so Yunyun is hired. In the changing room, Hakkoo and Yunyun ask what the other is up to but both decline to reveal any specifics. Meanwhile in her office, Liang Qi is chowing down a photo of Maria and Yunyun eating breakfast. In another part of town, Maria has returned to the hotel room much to Minoru's relief. Minoru and Maria then discuss about the strange marks on the people they've seen and Minoru decides to go to Santana's bar to get some answers. The singing was terrible, but at least he had enthusiastic.Back at Santana's bar, the Japanese official and three aids arrive and are ushered into a private room. Hakkoo and Yunyun are responsible for serving up drinks and Yunyun tries to slip some drugs into her target's beer, but the official is only interested in the more curvy Hakkoo. Feeling pissed off, Yunyun runs to the bar to stuff her costume with buns while Santana wonders who told the officials about his place. At this time, Minoru and Maria arrive at the bar which forces Yunyun to sneak out the backdoor. Yunyun is out back eating her buns when she discovers Canaan crouching beside her. Yunyun tries to shoot Canaan but she has no idea how to operate a gun and has to get lessons from Canaan.Yunyun isn't trying to stuff her bra; she is merely packing dinner.Maria just had to come and ruin the party. At least Yunyun is in heaven though.Back inside, Maria gets tired of Minoru and Santana trading insults and goes outside where she hears Yunyun's screams. Out back, Canaan has taken the gun and wants to know what Alphard is up to, but Yunyun doesn't know who Alphard is. Canaan thinks Yunyun is lying and at this moment Maria runs over and shields Yunyun from Canaan. Maria begs Canaan to not kill Yunyun and this makes Canaan thinks that she's only a murderer in Maria's eyes. Before Maria can clear up the misunderstanding, Canaan states that she would have killed Yunyun if not for Maria and runs off. While Maria is sobbing about Canaan, Yunyun gets a phone call from Liang Qi who orders Yunyun to use Maria to take out Canaan even if Yunyun has to die in the process. Back inside, Minoru is still arguing with Santana when Hakkoo briefly comes to bar to get more beer. Remembering that Hakkoo doesn't talk, Minoru decides to leave but Santana wants Minoru to pay a service charge.Where did Yunyun get all the dynamite from? Her bag didn't look large enough to hold so many sticks.Back in the back alley, Yunyun, now dressed in a cape, returns and drags Maria on top of a truss bridge where she reveals that she is wearing dynamite. Just as Yunyun had expected, Canaan shows up to save Maria. Yunyun lights her dynamite and tries to tackle Canaan into the water, but Canaan easily leaps over Yunyun, who then loses her balance and is about to fall. Canaan instinctively grabs Yunyun's arm, but this allows Yunyun to pull her off the bridge and the two fall into the water together. In the water Yunyun hangs onto Canaan with all her might while Canaan tries to elbow her way out. When elbows don't work, Canaan reaches into her bag for a knife, but she then remembers that Maria doesn't want her to kill so she puts the knife away. On top of the bridge, Maria sees a big explosion of water and thinks Canaan and Yunyun are dead, but soon after Canaan emerges near the shore dragging Yunyun with her. Yunyun wonders why Canaan saved her, and Canaan states that she did it so Maria won't be sad.Maria, the defender of lolis everywhere. At an upscale hotel, the Japanese official is receiving a massage. The masseur is actually Cummings in disguise, and using the excuse of acupuncture Cummings stabs the official with a needle that's been coated with the UA virus. Meanwhile, Minoru returns to his hotel room and finds Maria, Canaan, and Yunyun in the room. Minoru spots a blood vessel mark on Yunyun's hips, and Yunyun explains that she is one of the mutated survivors from the village that was wiped out by the UA virus. Yunyun has two appendices, which means she has no special powers whatsoever. Yunyun calls herself useless, but Maria disagrees and states Yunyun is her friend and that she wouldn't have gotten back together with Canaan if it wasn't for Yunyun. Afterwards, Minoru offers to help Yunyun escape from Hebi in exchange for Yunyun gathering information for him, and Yunyun leaves the hotel waving goodbye to her new friends.Back in her office, Cummings wonders about Yunyun but Liang Qi states that Yunyun has to come back for her medicine or else she'll die. On the docks, Yunyun packs up and belongings, boards up her boat shack, and locks the shack with a big padlock. Meanwhile, someone slips a letter into Maria and Minoru's room while the two of them are sleeping.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~As I said in my one sentence blurb, it was the Yunyun show this week, and our hardworking odd-jobs girl was pretty funny throughout the course. As some have guessed, Yunyun is involved in the UA virus intrigue and is actually a mutant herself. She isn't just some random bystander who just happens to be wherever Maria happens to be. I guess two appendices is what gives Yunyun her powers to work 10 jobs and still be full of energy lol. Yunyun isn't exactly a a femme fatale, but maybe Liang Qi was going for an unconventional tactic since Canaan would take out most operatives anyway, and she probably never expected Yunyun to carry out the original mission (of infecting the official) anyways. I do wonder about her future though, since she knows that she needs the drugs to survive, which means it's either going back to Liang Qi or choosing death. Neither of choices sound very appealing. I'm also wondering about the padlock and key shown in the episode; they probably have some sort of symbolic meaning, but I can't figure it out since I'm a science and math nerd with little literary talent. And of course there still is the letter at the end which may or may not have anything to do with Yunyun. It's good that Yunyun received lots of screen time and character development, but there wasn't much development in the overall story. Canaan and Maria got back together, but that was expected. Looks like Maria is really Canaan's weakness given how even Yunyun almost killed her by using Maria. Maria might prove to be the death of Canaan if this keeps up. We also Alphard and Liang Qi are planning something devious regarding the anti-terror summit, but it's not clear where that's going. The only thing we really learned is that Liang Qi really likes to appear naked in front of people. I'll admit Liang has a nice, healthy figure, but she's not really flat enough to appeal to the lolicons or curvy enough for those who like more voluptuous woman, so I'm not sure why she keeps showing herself off lol. Oh, and the photo-eating thing was just weird. I can't imagine photo paper and ink being too good for your stomach. Maybe Liang Qi is a mutant who can eat anything? I doubt it.So at this point, we still don't really know what anyone is up to. Hopefully the next episode will give more hints about the overall direction.

Things i left behind. Before i went to Riau, i left these hauls and loots untouched. Two of them came from Play-Asia, another 2 of them again came from my local store, and the last 2 came from STF 09 loots. And now, i took the chance to open them up, make a preview photograph, and create this post. So here’s the hauls / loots classification: May Play-Asia hauls: Yuki Gekisou (Max Factory) and Nendoroid Kureha (GSC) June local hauls: Seena Kanon (Max Factory) and Konjiki no Yami (GSC) STF 09 loots : Nendoroid Yoko (GSC) and Nendoroid Louise (GSC) This time i won’t separate them into 3 individual posts so this post will be filled with 6 figures straight. Nendoroid Kureha. Let’s start with the May Play-Asia haul, shall we? Nendoroid Kureha is one of the item in that haul. I love Kureha, and having a nendoroid of my beloved character wouldn’t hurt, so i bought her. I just love her cute face in this nendoroid version. Nice parts , including the “draw sword” parts. She got some nice interesting parts. Three faces (smiling, closed eye, and serious), 4 arms (1 normal pairs, 1 bow pairs), bow and arrow, 2 swords and 2 magic circles, and 1 ribbon for the “draw sword” pose. Overflowing with cuteness. Nendoroid Kureha wins the cutest face awards from me. Yes, she’s a total beauty in her real form, and in her chibi nendoroid form she’s still a beauty and also combined with overflowing cuteness. Unlike in the anime version, her face isn’t showing that she’s having an orgasm. GSC didn’t forget to put this draw sword pose. I watched the anime, and everytime someone drawn a sword from her chest, she looks like she’s having an orgasm. I wonder why GSC didn’t make her face looks even more like she’s having an orgasm. XD Archery action. And this is her with her bow and arrow, ready for some archery action. She still looks sooooo cute even with her serious face. Great job GSC, for making the nendoroid version of Kureha. Yuki Gekisou. The 2nd item from May PA haul is Yuki Gekisou. It’s the last figure from Extravaganza set. It’s a must get for a Haruhi series fans. Right after the announcement, I’ve already decided that i would bought all 3 of them. And here, Yuki, came as the mark of my set completion. White guitar with real string! Yuki is equipped with white guitar, cable, and something she stepped on below. I’m not really into musical instrument world, so i don’t know what’s that thing she stepped on. Someone care to fill me in? I like that white guitar. Compared to the other anime guitars (Haruhi’s, Yui’s Gitah, and Mio’s bass) i like Yuki’s guitar the most. It’s white and it looks so futuristic for me. That’s why i also bought figma Yuki with before. That white guitar is the reason. Always with her serious null face. Yuki came with her serious null face. She looks like she’s kinda angry for me. Don’t know why. Anyway, can’t you see her guitar pick? It’s purple. Uh… nothing much i can say from here on, so just skip to the next picture. Cool outfit Yuki! Talk about her outfit, she wears a different styled outfit compared to Haruhi and Mikuru. While those 2 wear gothic styled outfit with frills anywhere, Yuki got a cool and simple outfit. Red short jackets and a black tight mini skirt. It’s pretty cool for me! Nendoroid Louise. Next is loots from Surabaya Toy Fest 2009. I bought 2 items, and one of them is Nendoroid Louise. I heard something about Louise being exclusive Hobby Stock and all, which means it’s pretty hard to get your hands on this figure. So yes… Wajuwa sold it, i saw it, and bought it right away. Took me IDR 500k (USD 49) for this cutie. Two whips!? Louise came with 3 faces (angry, crying, and deredere? faces), 1 pairs of normal arms, 1 pairs of whip arms, and 1 arm for book i think. She’s also came with her cape, magic book, a magic wand, and 2 whips (1 straight and 1 bended). I guess she’s always ready to whip Saito. “SAAA-IIII-TOOO!!!!!!” Saito, you’d better be prepared… She’s ready to whack you with her favorite whip XD ! Louise isn’t complete if she doesn’t came with her whip. I didn’t put any photo of her straight whip here. “Saito… kiss me…” I don’t know if this is what you called deredere face. I still don’t know that kind of expression. I do think that this isn’t the deredere face, because the deredere face is the “shy” expression. So what’s this expression called? I love her crying face! Oh… She’s crying! I love her crying face, and right now I’m displaying her like this. Well, nendoroid Louise is filled with cuteness, but this Louise isn’t as cute as nendoroid Kureha. Nendoroid Yoko. Next loot from STF 09 is Nendoroid Yoko. I decided to bought her right after i started to watch Gurren Lagann last month (aired in Animax Southeast Asia), right a week before STF 09 started. I already predicted that Wajuwa would sell this figure, my prediction came true and i bought it right away. I need her sniper rifle! Other than Yoko, the reason i bought this figure is the sniper rifle. Yes, even though nendoroid filled with cuteness, sometimes cool weapon can bring more fun! Anyway Yoko came with 3 faces (smiling, angry, and that last face), 1 pairs of normal arms, 1 pairs of sniping arms, 1 “face scratching” arm, and 2 pair of shooting legs. She also came with her sniper rifle and her glasses. This is my favorite version of Yoko. There are 2-4 version of Yoko in the anime: before Genome defeated (which is my favorite), the hunter version, Yomako sensei version, and the space version. I guess Yoko looks the best when she’s in the first version. That’s why i lost interest in watching Gurren Lagann after Simon became the supreme commander. Shoot! Shoot! This is the first time i got a new kind of nendoroid base. I don’t know where and how to put the figure on the base. And in the picture above, Yoko was supported by her hair and her hair was supported by the base. I guess her hair is big and strong enough to support her whole body. Sniper rifle is win. Surprisingly enough, you can remove her scarf. She does look weird when she doesn’t put her scarf on. Anyway, nendoroid Yoko is fun to play with, especially with her sniper rifle. For a Yoko / Gurren Lagann fans, nendoroid Yoko is a must have. Seena Kanon Max Factory version. And this is the last haul set: local store haul. The first item is Seena Kanon, Max Factory version. This haul should have came around March-April, but local store is always late as always. I just got the items in STF 09, i met the store owner there, he brought the items there, and i bought them right away. Nice pose: shimapan! Judging by the look of her base, you can say that this Seena Kanon is a set of 2 MaxFact’s 1/7 Shining Wind figures. The first figure is of course Touka Kureha from Max Factory. The first Kureha doesn’t really have a unique or dynamic pose, but this Seena Kanon came with extra service included in her unique pose: shimapan. Facing backward, too bad. But as you can see, her pose is the “facing backward” type, so if you want to see her pretty face, you’ll have to skip on seeing her front side body, including her chest. I guess the special part of this figure is her butt and easy-to-look striped pantie. Her legs is just too big. Another downside from this figure is her thigh and legs look way oversized. It’s long, it’s thick, and the size seems doesn’t really match with her body. Maybe her naughty pose is the reason for that. Best quality from Max Factory. Overall, Max Factory always done a very great job. Seena Kanon’s quality in sculpt and paintjob is totally amazing, just like the Max Kureha… no… maybe even better than that. I guess this is the best Seena figure I’ve ever seen. Konjiki no Yami. The last item, which is also the 2nd item from the local store haul is Yami. I never watch any To Love Ru, but i know this character is a loli pretty girl. The other reason i bought her is: I’m a fan of Eve from Black Cat, and i heard that Yami is designed and drawn by the same artist. I bought her because she’s Eve to me, not Yami. First time To Love Ru became popular, Alpha Omega released a figure of Yami, sitting and eating something. I kinda interested back there, but i can still told myself not to buy it. This time is GSC’s turn, i like GSC’s quality, and i like Eve, so i decided to buy her. She also has the same transformation ability as Eve. This figure is also equipped with sword transformed lower arm. Just like Eve, i guess Yami also has the same transformation ability. Hey… i never watch and read anything about To Love Ru, so if anyone care to fill me in, please do so. Glad i bought her. This Yami is total loli beauty, and thanks to GSC for bringing the best quality of Yami. Of all the artistic photos i made above, i like this one the most. The best part of her is her swaying hair, it took a lot of space just like what Acesan said, but it is also the best part of this figure. Well, that’s all i can post for now. Be sure to stay updated for the next post! So… see you!!

In the last week, I bought some nice things for myself. I know I should have bought that external hard drive that was mentioned in Jayman's post, but I got distracted again. The items in this post arrived on different days. Instead of doing a post for every item, I waited to make one post. First up is the MegaHouse version QB Tomoe Mushamiko.A few days later, I went out and bought some manga.Yesterday, I got in the mail a Nendoroid petit figure. This time I got this version of Yuki. The thing is that was only half of what I bought. The rest of it should arrive by next week.

This has not being the best of seasons for me. Aside from the 26 episoders such as Mazinger Z, Shangri-La and Saki, none of this season's showings have really attracted my attention. That show about girls playing baseball in the 1920s was alright, and I might blog about it later, but aside from that, I've kinda been in a dirge about what to watch.Real men walk away from explosions. Then, someone recommended me Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou, saying it was rather similar to Nanoha. Tragically, I misunderstood him in thinking that YWGH would be featuring a cast of teenage girls who thought they were GaoGaiGar, when what he actually meant was that it had lolis, and uh...magic or something.GarGarGarGar GaoGaiGar! GarGa-huh? What do you mean it's the wrong show??Story...oh god, where the hell do I start?Ok, um...apparently Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou is about...uh...some girl called Koyomi, who is shitty at magic and whose only spell is the ability to make bins appear out of thin air (I'm not joking). Anyway, Koyomi meets some woman named Misa, who is apparently a super badass mage and will presumably train Koyomi to not be completely useless. Also included are a loli who doesn't wear panties and an evil pimp in a white suit.Koyomi's token guy friend. He is as boring as he looks.Or that's what it's meant to be anyway. To be completely honest, I had no idea what the hell was going on in this episode, it would have been more accurately described as a strangely disjointed sequence of events with naked butt shots thrown in every now and then.Truly this is a masterpiece of storytelling!CharactersKoyomi MorishitaApparently she's the main character; which was a surprising revelation given the fact she's got like 5 minutes of total screen time in the whole of the pilot episode. Anyway, she's your typical anime clumsy, not too bright high school girl. Also, she can use magic, but as mentioned before, she sucks and can thus only make bins appear on top of people.Um, I was told I was supposed to be the main character...Yumiko Cristina IchinoseApparently she's not the main character despite taking up a large majority of this episodes focus. Anyway, she's the token loli and grade schooler who has recently realized she's the descendant of some famous magician. She's constantly harassed by her classmates because of her funky hair colour and her bitchy attitude. Also, a pimp in a white suit wants to kill her, presumably because she owes him money. Has the attention span of a goldfish.Hmm, I probably should call the cops given how a guy wants to kill me, but I don't want them to think I'm crazy! (I'm not joking, she actually thinks this in the show)Misa AneharaApparently she's the greatest magician in the world, or something. Which is why she has a job as a salesperson who magically enchants her goods to make people want to buy them; work that is truly worthy of her talent. Anyway, she saves Koyomi and Yumiko from the evil pimp in the white suit at the end of the episode and will presumably train Koyomi later on in the series. This is my computer; where all the magic happens! Also, this is where I run my kiddy snuff porn site.Pimp in a White SuitPresumably the main antagonist of the series, he wants to kill Yumiko to steal her grandfather's magic walking stick. His magic powers include the ability to summon magical swords, control demonic beasts and walk around in public in a shiny white suit.My characterization is as featureless as my suit!Halt bitch! Gaze into my shiny white suit and DESPAIR!AnimationOh sweet jesus, what the hell happened here??? Animation wise, the characters move fluidly enough, but seriously, what the hell happened to the colouring department??? The colours look horrible and everything is goddamn blurry.Fear me! For my shiny suit shall burn holes into thine retinas! On the plus side, the techno-magic of the series looks cool.Nanoha, eat your heart out.OverallOh my god, I have no idea what to say. YKGM appears to have a pretty standard storyline, but the problem is it can't even tell that story straight! The first episode wasn't so much of a story, but an experience as otherworldly as any of the trippiest art movies out in the market.Having narrowly escaped a crazed killer who can shoot fireballs and teleport, Yumiko stops to pet a cat.Seriously, NOTHING. MAKES. SENSE! I felt like I was just watching a pastiche of unrelated events acted out by the same characters! After the first episode, I felt as if the very fabric of reality had torn itself apart, leaving me shivering, in dark, featureless despair.A bin has appeared over my head! I AM BESTED!Goddammit, even Evangelion made more sense then this! To illustrate my point, I'm going to show you a particular sequence of events in YWGM, and compare it to an iconic scene from Eva.Ok, here we have a bunch of boys sneaking up on poor Yumiko...When suddenly, the treacherous villains reach under her skirt!Only to find the horrible truth that Yumiko is in fact Mio!!!Their objective accomplished, the boys proceed to do a stupid dance, presumably to appease whatever dark god it is that haunts this place. In rage, Yumiko then takes her panties off in front of the boys and throws it at their leader, thereby teaching the rogues a lesson they won't soon forget! The boys then learn a far more horrible truth; Yumiko isn't potty trained. This discovery causes the boys' leader to break down in tears as he tries to scratch off his irreversibly tainted face. Finally, the drama ends with the teacher reprimanding Yumiko, saying she, "went too far"....uh, what?? Yumiko is the constant victim of sexual harassment by the boys, and ostracising by the girls, and SHE went too far!?!? Where the hell did you get your education degree from you stupid bitch!?So yeah...did that make sense to you? No? Join the club. In contrast, here's an iconic picture from the End of Evangelion;Unlike YWGM, the message of this image is painfully clear; Kowaru makes a shitty garden gnome. Seriously, why can't all shows be as straightforward as this? Also, another problem prevalent in this episode is that everyone is stupid. Particularly Yumiko. Early in the episode, she meets the Pimp in a White Suit, who makes it painfully clear he wants to kill the shit out of her. And yet despite his threats, or the fact he threw a fireball at her, she seems to constantly forget she's on the run from a crazed killer and makes frequent stops to pet cats, read books and talk to random people! You fool! Instead of calling the police, you decided to run to a deserted road instead! Now prepare yourself, for I shall kill you until you are dead! What the!? Who the hell is this and why is she hugging you!? Hello???Um, guys? I'm here to butcher all of you! Could you please stop ignoring me!?Seriously, why are you giving me a, "I won't run away" speech? I just want to kill that girl behind you; I don't even know you! (This actually happens by the way)Either Yumiko has balls of steel, or the evil Pimp in a White Suit is the most nonthretening villain in the history of everything. This show makes my head hurt...About the only thing I liked in this whole episode was the spunky magic. Called, "Code", magic in YWGM appears to be of a technological nature, with characters actually programming spells into their computers. Sadly however, aside from the spifftastic magic, YWGM is a horrible train wreck of an anime. I'll probably watch episode 2 since I downloaded it at the same time as ep 1, but don't expect me to continue further then that unless ep 2 throws out some truly magical shit.
