Hirano Aya's blog postings have slowed down recently, and there is a reason: she has been in hospital twice over the past three weeks.The first time was in late February, when she was in briefly owing to "complications from a cold."The second time was last week, for what she called "gastroenteritis."She added darkly: "I was emotionally done in, perhaps following a change of surroundings. That's all I'll say right now. Sorry to have made you worry."It certainly makes me think of the time in late 2006, when she was off work for a month. And of the Hirano Aya Only TV episode where she went for a full examination at an anti-aging clinic and was told she had the constitution of a 40-50 year old. She is 22. In that examination, she said that she normally has dinner around ten p.m. and goes to sleep after two a.m., then gets up at seven a.m. One often sees blog posts she has made at 4 a.m.Aya has long said that she was no good at sports in school, and often sat out gym classes. But she continues to drive herself in her live performances, and to work more or less around the clock. At the moment, she is featured in the continuing shows Fairy Tail, Seikon no Qwesar, and Jewelpet.Here are various pics from over the past two months or so. Yesterday, Ghostlightning did a post about how it's possible for him to like a show that he did not enjoy, and to conversely enjoy a show that he did not like. I at first decried this as impossible for myself - after all, I'm known for not putting up with things I don't enjoy - my enjoyment seems to be intrinsically tied to what I do or don't like. However, I mulled around with the thought and realized that, holy shit, 'like' and 'enjoy' are two totally different things, and then I finally cracked open on something I've been fighting for a while. I've always hated the way that people often declare 'their favorites' as separate from what they consider 'the best' anime. And now I've stumbled on the real meaning of those dual-lists - it's a difference between what you 'like' and what you 'enjoy.'

Everything is still going according to Aizen's plans.I'm too sexy for my shirt, too sexy for my shirt,so sexy it hurts.Summary:Yamamoto sacrificed himself to use hadou #96 to burn Aizen. Aizen barely escapes, but he is confronted by Ichigo's Getsuga. Ichigo manages to would Aizen on the shoulder before Aizen can fend him off. Much to Ichigo's surprise, Aizen quickly regenerates from his injury, but he reveals that he is using the power of the Hougykou implanted on his chest instead of any hollow powers. Aizen then states that all of Ichigo's fights up until now were all according to his plan.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~A somewhat slow chapter this week. Kubo got lazy again after the pretty decent chapter last week. So despite Yamamoto sacrificing himself for the hadou blast, everything is still going according to Aizen's plans. It was a slight surprise that Aizen didn't turn himself into a hollow, but the hougykou was probably a better device. I suppose we shouldn't have expecting anything else. I'm looking forward to hearing Aizen's explanation of how everything was "in his palm" all along even though no matter how preposterous it might turn out to be. Maybe it'll turn out that Ichigo is the key to the shinigami king's realm or something like that lol.
