That's right kiddies. It's from for a full three minute and forty-three second trailer of the upcoming Appleseed sequel, Appleseed Saga: Ex Machina. Yes, once again, ikimashou is willing to venture onto the toes of the stuffy Japanese suit wearing types to "copyright" infringe on publicly available videos. NOTHING IS OUT OF HAND HERE, CERTAINLY [...]

Doki Doki School Hours is that one anime based on a 4koma manga that people can't help but compare to Azumanga Daioh. Not like that's a bad thing to be associated with Azumanga...

Thoughts: More tacos! Have to say L.A is a good singer, not only that he seems to be an expert at mind games too, although I would say he isn’t the sanest person in the world. His obsession with Ellis continues this episode, what I found weird was why he decided to attack her, last [...]

And finally Baccano! airs. The promo-art looked really cool, and I was intrigued by the premise. So, after having seen the first episode, what is my first reaction?
HUGE cast of characters!
Seriously, this anime has an amazingly big cast of main characters, and an even bigger cast of side-characters. The episode felt twice as long [...]

As promised, I have scanned in the Konata Otaku Quiz from Newtype. Basically its a quiz on the various otaku reference that have been made in Lucky☆Star.
There are a total of 30 questions. So if you understand Japanese and are a hardcore Lucky☆Star fanatic, put on your thinking socks and try out this quiz.
For those [...]

Claymore 17 introduces us to Jeane proper. Just from an early reaction, I think I’m going to like her a great deal. We’re also given revelations as to the Awakened Being in the North, Riful’s real form and power, conclusions as to Galatea’s real purpose, and so forth. I think Duff has to be one [...]

I think I may do something interesting with the polls. Rather than posting “your favourite whatever” stuff that you can find generally anywhere (and I do a particularly bad job of it), I think I’ll use it as a “choose your own adventure” book. It’s not that absurd, really, and might present us with a [...]

Fresh off a Continecious flight from America, Katherine McDonald is here “for Dew.” She wants to take the title of premiere Enjutsushi family from the Kannagi family, and is willing to interrupt Ayano’s fancy dinner for a chance to duel. The McDonald style relies more on spirit beasts that concentrate fire spirits into [...]

07/26/2007 10:14 AM EDTDARKER THAN BLACK -Kuro no Keiyakusha- Gekiban OST review >>
They say good things come to those who wait. I couldn’t agree more, having waited ever since I saw the first episode of Darker than Black, to get my hands on the soundtrack that contained the epic post-rock track, the one that’s first played when Louie uses his powers on Hei. Yes, that one. I’m [...]

An excellent aftermath to the already excellent previous episode. Not only does Sora get captured and put in jail, Ginjiro’s identity also gets revealed. Nearly every scene in this episode was memorable somehow, and I’m looking forward to seeing this anime go towards its finish.
It seems like Seikichi and the Townsfolk do see Sora [...]

Figure 17.
Now that I’ve finished Macross 7, I’ve moved on to Figure 17. I’ve been assured that it is good, and it was a convenient excuse to pick another show with a seven in the title. And I’ve already seen Eureka 7.

I’ve been reading about this strange new “surge” in crime in Akihabara, Tokyo. Apparently, for the past year, there has been “…a five-fold increase in the number of people found carrying illegal knives. They believe otaku are doing so in self-defence.”
Why would otaku need to defend themselves in Akihabara, Otaku Heaven, of all places? [...]

Ayasaki Hayate is one of the few worthy harem leads I’ve come to respect in recent years. Actually, it’s not hard to win my admiration - one just has to prove himself capable of something beyond this tanuki. For Hayate’s case, I am in awe of his resilience and optimism in life. In his shoes, [...]
