While some people have seemed to have given up on Yoakena, I somehow find myself liking the show as it keeps on progressing, even if the main plot point of the story is the cliched “royalty falls in love with commoner from opposing kingdom” type. Perhaps it’s just my nostalgic self longing for this old [...]

This is like some major milestone in terms of the loli jailbait depato. Lots of Iroha goodness this week, and thankfully, the Momoko abuse hasn’t died down, and infact has only intensified from the fight between the lolis.
So anyway Hanzo and Iroha decide to make their move and use Koushi as a means of weapon [...]

I need to constantly remind myself that Negima?! isn’t Negima!. There are a few things here and there in the series I do not agree about, but one thing I must say stands out is the awesomeness of the fight scenes, when SHAFT really gets serious. Setsuna really made this episode for me. Even [...]

Yeah, complain all you like about the long title. I could have made two separate blog posts, but since I have limited time on the computer and internet, I might as well merge the two posts into one. Well, the two topics have something to do together anyways. I have done the first soundtrack some time ago, and I am now doing the second and last part of the soundtrack. Again, I had downloaded the soundtrack from Nipponsei. Some of you might worship them; so do I. Well, appreciation is needed by minglong and the others who bought the actual OST. Well... to fully remove Ouran Koukou Host Club off my computer, I had to also remove the soundtrack. However, there are a few songs which have really long names, like for example, track number 6, and it goes like this: "Ouran Concerto Moderato marciale for oboe, 2 horns, violin and string quartet". The CD burner decided to scream, and I had to rename the tracks in order to make them fit the burner.Again, I had also removed 10 episodes of School Rumble. I need more space for Shuffle! So, what is so good about this soundtrack, you ask. I can confidently tell you that there is nothing too special about this soundtrack, other than the long names and it's cover is much nicer than the first soundtrack's. Like the previous soundtrack, this soundtrack also comes with a limited edition character card and a bonus disc featuring "Ouran Koukou Host Mania!" by Sakamoto Maaya and a few others.Shissou by LAST ALLIANCE, the ending theme of Ouran Koukou Host Club, is also available in this soundtrack, although it is only a TV size version. You'll have to get the single to get the full version. So... this song can be used to temporary full those who like the song, and these people might as well get the single later on.Matsukaze Masaya, the voice of Ootori Kyouya, sings "Tsumetai Yoru" as Kyouya's image song. His voice is strong like a man's. The music is quite nice too. I hear guitar and piano instrumentals every now and then, and the pairing of these two instruments make good music.Meanwhile, the twins' image song were sung together by the twins. "Bokura no Love Style" is a song performed using a guitar with the mixture of bass and drum. Its chorus sounded like some church's youth song, and would sound better if more people were to sing it, the more the better."Mata Ashita", which literally means "Goodbye" or "Let's meet again tomorrow", is the last vocalled track. It's a song sung by all the members of the club. Mainly it's sung by the male members of the club, leaded by Tamaki and Kyouya, while the twins sings the part before the chorus. All of the males sing the chorus, while the females (including Honey-senpai) made random laughing sound evey now and then. This is a good group song, and I give a 8/10 rating to this song.Meanwhile I won't be making any comments on all of the BGM and vocalless tracks, I'll do a few due to the lack of time. Hirano Yoshisa, the composer of most of the vocalless, is an experienced composer who composed songs for Final Fantasy and others.Track six is a song you would be able to listen throughout the anime. Track 18 is a really soft and soothing song. Track nineeen is "Sakura Kiss for piano". Minglong calls it divine, but I do not like it at all.

The world is a waste land. Greed is the only passion. No one is truly good and innocent. Its putrid stench and vile underpinnings cannot be exaggerated too much. Nothing and nobody is as clearly defined as it seems, and the only truth is that there is no real truth. It’s all subjective to the point of confusions. What the goal? What is right? What is wrong? Who do you trust? When everyone is an

REIRA starring YUNA ITO - TRUTH (43MB, for PSP/Quicktime)
NANA the MOVIE 2 teaser (YouTube video)
This is basically the main theme for the second NANA MOVIE starring Nakashima Mika and Ichikawa Yui. I am a bit disappointed to know that Miyazaki Aoi doesn't reprise her role as Hachi in the second film since I thought she's perfect as the character. As it turns out, many other actors from the original film won't reprise the role. Nobuo Kyo has taken over the role of Ren from Matsuda Ryuhei. Matsuyama Kenichi who plays Shin in the first film (and L from Death Note movie) has been replaced by Kanata Hongo. Anyway, this is a beautiful looking PV that was shot in Scotland and features the actors who will play their role as TRAPNEST members in the second film. The song itself is nice but it's not as good or sad as Endless Story, which I think is one of the best songs I've ever heard. As a side note, I haven't had the chance to go through the lyrics with great care since I'm strapped for time so any correction is welcome as usual.

Wow, I actually thought the Yoshii vs. Ishida fight was pretty good. Exceeding all my expectations, it turned out to be far better than that shitty fight that Sawatari had with Mayuri. Both these GONZO productions share a large chunk of their plots. Gantz is a manga by Oku Hiroya, which is currently on hiatus. I think the new chapters are starting again this month.

Fans of Haruhi and her motley crew of aliens and humans, self-proclaimed members of the S.O.S Dan, and Harutards found a reason to rejoice and to weep a week and a half ago, when Max Factory announced their quite amazingly sculpted Suzumiya Haruhi PVC figure at a quite unbelievable price. The catch? ONLY 5000 units (since increased to 10000) of the hyperactive schoolgirl would be released. O.oNow, before we get to the figure itself, one wonders what is going through the great minds at Max Factory. What would drive them to LIMIT (for now, at least) a figurine from one of recent times' most successful and contagious anime franchises? It's pretty well-known that Haruhi-ism is well and truly present among anime-watchers and otakus in Japan, most of Asia, and in the U.S, not to mention other parts of Europe I haven't heard about. Face it, I have seeds in my torrents from Chile and Ukraine...EVERYONE watches anime. So, what part of economics preaches low supply when quantity demanded is way in the clouds? You don't sell less when you can sell more. ESPECIALLY when you can sell more AND up the price in the process. A projected price of 3990 Yen? When Ryougi Shiki is 5000 Yen, I'm sure people would buy Haruhi at 6000. =P The figure seems simple enough, not many frills like the recently released Ignis of Jingai Makyo. So, I don't think they're worried about her armband warping and changing shape.Maybe they're holding it back so they can increase the price later? When desperate Haruhi fans turn into rabid, snarling maniacs, you never know what they'll pay to satisfy themselves. But that would just be simple insanity and commercial suicide, so to speak. Sure, they MAY get to sell their 2nd batch at a generally higher price, but what of their reputation? People would just hate them for doing it. Nah, even a dumbass would know this isn't a good plan. So, what drives this somewhat inexplicable move from Max Factory in limiting the seemingly limitless (at least in PVC figure terms) profits just waiting to be plucked and stuffed into their pockets? Some other issue behind the scenes? Or just plain mental retardation? (spoken like a true fan that has not yet secured his own pre-order of the figure, lolz)Anyway, here's what's causing all the 'ooh's, 'aah's, 'orz's and 'meh's on the internet. Suzumiya-san in all her glory.Suzumiya Haruhi 1/8 scale PVCFrom: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu She's 1/8 scale as is the norm. And she's wearing her trademark school uniform, musch better than a bunny dress, in my opinion. Yup, she's got the S.O.S Leader armband, and she seems to have interchangeable hands, one for posing and the other for holding that little yellow horn. What can I say, it's a dream come true for me. And even people who don't like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu would be hard-pressed in finding much fault with the figure.Release? February 2007 for the 1st batch (of 10000). And a tentative April for more? There had better be more...*readying ESPer powers to blast Max Factory out of the closed space they're lost in*. ^^Manufacturer: Max FactoryRelease Date: February 2007Price: 3990 Yen>>> Toyzlog Tags: PVC Figures, Figurines, Toys, Anime, Anime Toys, Japanese Toys, Max Factory, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, Suzumiya Haruhi, Tenjou
