11/25/2009 08:56 AM ESTUniversal Bunny, Styles Debut at Oricon Dailies at #2 and #3 >>
This is quite a good showing for Universal Bunny, and though not as good as OST 2 of the tv series, it does rival the OST 1 and the vocal collection. May’n’s first full album which was also released today also did pretty well and landed at #3.
And a small side note… 2ch sometimes [...]

Umineko no Naku Koro ni
I dropped Naruto a few years ago because of the fillers. Naruto fillers were mostly uninteresting and lame, so even though I really liked Naruto then, I decided to drop it.Recently, I decided to pick up Naruto again as over the past 2 years, I have seen many comments about Naruto Shippuuden being much better than Naruto. Just yesterday, I finally caught up with Naruto Shippuuden (episode 136) and I must agree that it's much better than Naruto. There is more action, funny moments, sad moments, and Akatsuki!! Also, the fillers are not as bad as those of Naruto's.CharactersNaruto/Naruto Shippuuden feature an extensive cast of characters. My favorite characters are Kakashi sensei, Naruto, Gaara, Shikamaru, Deidera and maybe Sasuke.Kakashi sensei remains as my top favorite. He's so mysterious and cool, and I love how he takes care of everyone around him.I used to think that Naruto was very noisy (actually, he still is), but his never-give-up spirit has impressed me a lot.I like Gaara the first time I saw him. His character design is very cool and I like his powers.Initially, there's nothing very special about Shikamaru. However, he really shines in Naruto Shippuuden.I feel sad that Deidera is dead. Though I'm not into his art, I like his personality.I used to like Sasuke a lot. He's cool and good looking, and I like this kind of character. However, as the series progresses, I begin to dislike him more and more. I think his obsession with revenge is the main reason. I can understand why he's so obsessed with revenge (too obsessed to see the truth) but I don't understand why he chose to believe in the words of those evil people (*spoiler* for example, he believes in Uchiha Madara and starts working for Akatsuki =.=||).

This is prolly one of the rare times that you see so much cosplayers involved and so much photographers whoring up to the cosplayers and snapping like machine guns

It seems Nori-P scandal will hit the big screen pretty soon…
Film distributor Psydirec announced that shooting has already started for a movie titled “Setsuna,” a semi-documentary about the Sakai scandal. Masao Kasahara is directing the picture, which is based on the book “Sakai Noriko: Kakusareta Sugao” by entertainment reporter Masaru Nashimoto. The lead actress is [...]

Fans of
Cencoroll
, I have learned, tend to be pretty hardcore. I remember the obsessiveness with which some friends and acquaintances of mine attended its US debut at the
New York Anime Fest
this year (which I couldn't attend because I was basically double-booked all weekend), and the reception it often gets at
Aniplex
's panels when it comes up as a title they're hoping to license in the US.
For those of you who weren't at NYAF, there's good news-- maybe. The 30-minute one-man-band show is available on the Playstation Store in Japan, and if you have a Japanese account for downloading games and the like, and you have ¥500 (about $5.70 USD) in there, you can rent an SD copy for three days, complete with some special extras...theoretically, anyway.
See, I know this works for games, which are region-free for the PS3, but I'm not at all sure whether video works the same way, and unfortunately, I don't have access to the PS3 in the office and won't have it all holidway weekend. And even if it DOES work, it'll be a hassle-- here's a video I found with instructions on adding yen to your Japanese PSN account:

It may be a pain, but I know there are Cencoroll fans out there who would love the opportunity to support creator Atsuya Uki's endeavor. But if there's any kind of region encoding or IP address check on the video, it may not work. If one of you checks it out for me and lets us know if it works, you'll be my new favorite!

Among the many things in this world that I love, and high up on the list, are both Jim Henson's original Muppets and the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. So when
G-Man posted the following video
, you can imagine how much giddy squee-ing went around the office. It totally made my day/week/month/life.
