Is Maria really possessed by Beatrice? Well, for certain, Maria is behaving weirdly. Firstly, she seems indifferent about her mother's death, and secondly, she keeps making that creepy face and talks with a creepy voice. However, despite all that, I'm still not quite convinced that she's possessed. I think she's just trying to make others believe that Beatrice exist. I don't understand why the other characters are not bothered by her creepiness. She's trying so hard to tell the others 'Hey, I'm evil!' but yet no one seems to be concerned about her change in behavior.Anyway, now that two more characters are down, we are only left with ten people and Beatrice. At this point in time, everything is pointing towards Beatrice being the culprit. I'm glad that Battler, who is acting as the main detective, does not believe in Beatrice. I like the scene where he declares to Maria that Beatrice does not exist. Battler is becoming more likable as the series continues.After watching this episode, my guess is that Beatrice may be the 19th unknown person on the island and someone among the ten people is helping him/her out.Among the dead are:- Eva- HideyoshiOnly ten people left:- Kinzou (Where the hell is he right now?)- Natsuhi (Is she spared from death because of the scorpion charm?)- George (Poor fella! He lost his loved one and his parents.)- Battler (Detective!)- Jessica- Maria (She's creepy!)- Chiyo- Kanon- Genji (Since he's Kinzou's trusted servant, I think he knows where Kinzou is but not revealing anything.)- NanjoWhat's Hot?Battler overhears Genji and Kanon's conversation and barges in. After hearing more about Beatrice from them, Battler still does not believe in her existence. Suddenly, Maria joins in and points out that Battler survived the previous night because he holds the scorpion charm. This shocked Battler for a moment but he regains his composure and reveals that he had lost the scorpion charm. He firmly believes that it was not the charm which protected him and he declares that there is no witch’s curse. - Yea! I'm so happy to see Battler proving Maria wrong!Natsuhi vs Eva - Both look suspicious and it's interesting to see them provoking each other.Eva and Hideyoshi are found dead in their room. The door was locked and the door chain was up. - Closed room murder!What's Not?Maria and her creepy face!
