Is Beatrice trying to act young? She looks better in her usual dress.I just finished watching the second game (episodes 6 - 11) and it's one hell of a ride. All I can say is Beatrice is a super sadist! Her killing methods were cruel and her actions in episode 11 were extremely sickening. It's really sad to see Battler helpless in front of her.In this game, there were 2 Battler. One was playing the game and the other one seemed to be observing the game and arguing with meta-Beatrice. I've always been supporting Battler and frankly, I'm quite disappointed with his attitude in this game (the one who is playing). In the first game, he rejected the existence of magic right to the very end, but in the second game, he gave up halfway and accepted the presence of Beatrice and magic in front of Maria. Surprisingly, the one who fought back in this game was Rosa. Sadly, she lacked the willpower of Battler in the first game to fully reject the Beatrice. However, her perseverance did manage to motivate Battler to challenge Beatrice to another game. The second game was so one-sided that I couldn't help but to acknowledge Beatrice's power. I'm trying to think of some scientific explanations but the only one I can think of now is illusion, which is not very scientific.Players:Battler (with the help of Bernkastel? hmm.. I seriously didn't see how she had meddled with this game) vs Beatrice Rules of the game:- When Beatrice speak of the truth, that sentence will be displayed in Red letters. This is to prevent Battler from arguing that there's not enough information or evidence.- When Beatrice tells the truth, she will use red, but she does not bear the responsibility of establishing the fact by showing proof.Dying Order:1. Krauss, Natsuhi, Eva, Hideyoshi, Rudolf and Kyrie- They all died in the Chapel with candies and cookies stuffed in their stomachs. (eek.. the thought of it makes me feel like puking!)2. Jessica and Kanon- They were ambushed by Beatrice, who summoned her legion of goat butlers against them. Kanon used his power as a furniture to fight off the butlers until Beatrice summoned her two Stakes of Purgatory, Asmodeus and Satan, who successfully killed Jessica and Kanon.- Beatrice left Jessica's body in the locked room but made Kanon's body disappeared.Hmm.. furniture has very interesting powers.AsmodeusSatan3. Chiyo and NanjoThe servants stumbled across Kanon, who was severely wounded but apparently still alive. Kanon told them that Rosa was the one who attacked him. However, it was soon discovered that this Kanon was a duplicate created by Beatrice. The fake Kanon attacked the servants, killing Nanjo and Chiyo before being destroyed by the other servants.4. Gohda, Shannon and GeorgeGeorge, Shannon, and Gohda were retrieving Natsuhi's room key from her corpse, when Beatrice ambushed them. They immediately ran off and managed to reach Natsuhi's room. When George and Shannon were trying to retrieve Natsuhi's magical mirror from a locked box, Gohda was killed by Beelzebub. Beatrice then confronted George and Shannon. Empowered by Natsuhi's mirror, Shannon attempted to defend herself and George, but they were both killed by Beatrice.BeelzebubMahou Shoujo?Conclusion of the second gameRosa and Maria went to the Chapel to take one of the gold bars. Meanwhile, Genji brought Battler before Beatrice. In exchange for an explanation on how Beatrice used her magic to commit the crimes, Battler was enslaved and humiliated by Beatrice before being killed by her goat butlers. Kinzo was also killed by the goat butlers. Rosa and Maria were also ambushed by the goat butlers and were killed as they tried to escape. In another dimension, Beatrice tortured Rosa mentally into accepting her as a witch. In the end, Rosa gave in. Just when Beatrice thought that her plan was perfect, Battler entered the dimension. Having regained his will to fight Beatrice, he challenged Beatrice to another game.Battler looks so pathetic! Apparently, that pink stuff is the tongue of Eva. (*puke*)Yea! Battle's willpower is revived!Afterthoughts:For the second game, Genji is the most suspicious character. The reason is obvious - he's the only one who survived! Not only did he survive, he's also serving Beatrice. How and why he helped Beatrice is not yet revealed but I'm pretty sure that he's involved in the killings somehow.Anyway, as we all know, Battler did submit to Beatrice, became her furniture and got killed. So I'm just wondering if Beatrice did answer Battler's questions. (p_q) I guess she did since she promised to. Even though she's a super sadist, she has been honoring her words so far.I believe the next game will be more interesting as two more witches will be joining in the fun. One is Bernkastel, who (according to Beatrice) was already meddling with the second game, and the other is Lambdadelta, who bears a grudge against Bernkastel and so is joining Beatrice's side.BernkastelLambdadelta
