<spoiler 'show="" spoiler="" for="" bleach="" chapter="" 393'="" 'hide="" spoiler="" for="" bleach="" chapter="" 393'="">It took forever, but Yamamoto finally woke up and did something this chapter. It was certainly exciting to see the old man displaying his prowess and to see Aizen acknowledge that Yamamoto has more combat capability, but having seen the fire trap that Yamamoto was planning, I tend to agree with Aizen about the fact that he's making his move too late since everyone else is incapacitated now. This is especially true given the fact that Aizen had Wonderweiss ready to counter Ryuujin Jakka (of course Aizen was ready for this). I assume that Wonderweiss defeated Kensei at some point, and while I have no doubt that Yamamoto can figure out a way to defeat Wonderweiss in a one-on-one battle, Aizen probably won't give him that opportunity. The easy way to resolve this would be to have Ichigo fight Wonderweiss while Yamamoto fights Aizen, but that's probably too straightforward to actually happen. Maybe Urahara will show up instead since he has past experience against Wonderweiss. Either way, I have a hard time imagining Yamamoto getting defeated at this point, just like I don't think Aizen will be. </spoiler>
