This episode starts off with Heisuke being instructed to recuit more soldiers, and Itou comes to join the Shinsengumi. Itou isn’t well liked by the Shinsengumi except for Kondou. During the night Chizuru accidently catches Sannan walking arounnd the Shinsengumi base, and she follows Sanno around until Sanno drinks some medicine using Chizuru father’s research. [...]
