Hello everyone, Let's go with another review about one of the most funny and heart-warming manga/anime I've watched recently. We're talking about Ichigo Mashimaro, a work from Barasui. Let's start up with the classic synopsis : Ichigo Mashimaro follows the life of Nobue Itoh, her younger sister Chika, and her friends. The basic premise of the show can be summed up in "cute girls do cute things in cute ways", be it trying to quit smoking, going outside to play, celebrating a holiday, or doing school work. Yes, this is a slice of life series and one pretty good at it to be honest. The stories are simple, cute and heart warming, there is no bad fanservice in the series. Just a load of fun! The characters are few, funny and criminally cute! There isn't much growth in the characters as all slice of life series, but the pace is good enough to make you not care about it. My favourite character is Chika and her "looks so young, but think so like an adult" mentality and behaviour!!! The graphical department is quite good even thought it does not reach the level of cuteness of the manga. The animation is mostly consistent with some rare screw up. Opening and Ending are pretty cute, but nothing exceptional to talk about. The seiyuu in this series aren't the most famous, except for Mamiko Noto in her Ana Coppola role, but they all do a fantastic job! The opening and ending songs are cute and mantain the same cuteness of the series making them appear like a normal continuation of the anime. (Can't forget that Dango Dai Kazoku ending all funny, just after Nagisa died in Clannad...what are you doing director?!) Concluding, well this may be one of the best series of the last years, everyone who likes slice of life can't miss it!!! It is also a quite nice anime to introduce someone to anime (cute, relaxing and with almost no fanservice)   Well it's all for now. Time to go rewatch this series again, all this talking about it make me want to watch it!!! See you soon, feal87
