Goodmorning to everyone, This time let's talk about a rather cute Light Novel/Manga/Anime series I happened to watch some seasons ago. It's name is "Ookami-san" (while the anime is named after the first volume of the light novel called "Ookami-san to shichinin no nakama-tachi") and it's a rather light comedy/romance series (excluding some particular drama scene out of blue) Let's start up with a synopsys picked up on the web : Ookami Ryouko is a spunky and, by some accounts, rather manly high school girl. She is tall, speaks in a traditionally masculine way and is very proficient in fighting. Ookami-san's best friend is the small and high-pitched voiced Akai Ringo. Incidentally, the two are rather flat-chested, a fact the Narrator (voiced by Arai "Kuroko" Satomi of Railgun fame) is all too eager to point out.Ookami and Ringo are members of the Otogi Bank, a club in Otogi High School that assists students with their problems in return for their assistance on a different problem at a later date; thus the Otogi Bank is effectively a loan institute for problems where you can take out a loan for a solved problem but you have to repay it sooner or later. The Otogi Bank is able to solve any problem and will go to any lengths to do so, often leading the members to danger or mayhem. Since most of the members of the club are female, another male is needed for the more dangerous assignments. Thus, the scopophobic (the fear of being looked at) Morino Ryoushi is inducted as a member, right after he confesses his love for Ookami... Yes, this is a quite a crazy story, but let me explain the good things of it! The narrator voiced by the same Seyuu as Kuroko and that's one of the most funny thing you can have in it. You'll find yourself laughing a lot when one of the character breaks the fourth wall to bash something the narrator was saying. The story by itself is nothing exceptional, but quite effective to make people laugh a little. The characters are pretty much defined, but along the way you'll discover other part of them (like the Ryouko past) and this makes them more credible and likable. If I have to say one, I hated Ringo-san. Don't ask me why, it's just repulsion likely. The seiyuu in this anime are mostly not very famous except for some low-importance character (like Yui Horie for Alice), but nevertheless the quality of the dub is quite high. The soundtrack is quite nice and I liked a lot the OP ("Ready? Go!" of May'n) that I'll probably make a post in the future talking about it. Concluding this has been a rather fun ride, and I suggest to anyone looking for some laugh to pick this series up. It's only 12 episodes after all! (I still don't know if to pick the manga up, probably I'll wait for some empty shipment to put a volume in and see what happens)    That's all for now, feal87 P.S. Ryouko is mine (together with all the other mentioned in the previous posts)
