Hello again, Here we are to do another quick review for today. This time we'll talk about a manga/anime series I'm planning to buy in this february shipment named Sayonara, Zetsubou Sensei and is currently at its 24th manga volume and at the third anime series (four if you include a 3 episode OAV). Let's start up like always with a synopsys : Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei revolves around a very pessimistic high school teacher named Nozomu Itoshiki who, at the very beginning of the series, tries to hang himself on a sakura tree. He is saved by an extremely optimistic girl known only as Kafuka Fuura (though in her effort to save his life, she almost kills him). She explains to him that it is simply unimaginable that he would hang himself on such a nice day, especially in front of such beautiful trees. She decides to nickname Nozomu "Pink Supervisor", and offers to pay him fifty yen to call him by that nickname. After having enough of the strange girl, Nozomu bolts to the school and starts his homeroom class, but the attempt to escape was in vain as he finds that the girl is one of his students. Not only that, but Kafuka is just the tip of the iceberg: each and every student in his class represents a new personality quirk or bizarre obsession, posing challenges that the suicidally-inclined teacher must overcome in spite of himself. Yes, that's a crazy story! But this is a satyrical/comedy anime so of the main story we don't care much. The story is divided into episodes in which the class explore one of the various situations of the real life with their usual comedy shifts. The quality of each single story is top notch and you'll get soon used to their antics and love them.   Each story is unique, but tries to keep the continuity between the series with references to past chapters. The characters are very diverse and each one of them have a particular obsession/trait (Hikikomori, Stalker, BL lover, super-optimist, mail addicted, etc...) that makes the story interesting, and the life complicated for our teacher. The seiyuu in this anime are the TOP (like Ai Nonaka, Marina Inoue, Kikuko Inoue, Yuko Goto), and the overall quality of the acting is very high. The soundtrack is decent, and the OP/ED quite nice (i loved the first OP named "Hito Toshite Jiku ga Bureteiru" of Kenji Ohtsuki)  The manga covers from what I've investigated searching online looks quite good, but I'll have some photo for all of you when I get the new order in some weeks. (Probably in some days I'll post the complete list of manga picked up) Concluding, this is an anime that you cannot miss. High production quality and high quality stories/comedy, add on the top some high level seiyuu...what else do you want? Ah i forgot... "Jiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii~" Yes, my favourite is the stalker "Matoi Tsunetsuki". I want to be stalked by her!!! That's all for now, feal87
