The K-ON! Movie crossed the 1 billion yen threshold in box office sales a few days ago. It was reported on Monday by a film journalist, Hiroo Otaka that K-ON! Movie has earned 1,139,230,000 yen (about US$14.6 million) in ticket sales since its December 3 opening. Its nowhere near One Piece, Doraemon, Shin-chan, or the Evangelion Rebuild levels.
