Evangelion 13 Manga English Version vs Japanese Version! I am really surprised this volume was released almost at the same time, both the japanese and english translated version. Kudos for this! Of course, It is unfair to compare both versions because the Japanese version I bought has tons of extra gooddies due to the fact that it was a premium edition. However, I can compare the manga itself. I must say that I like a lot the cover used in the english version. It looks like a "movie" poster instead of the "typical" rei and asuka cover shown in the japanese version. HOWEVER, The japanese version has some cool colored pages that are black & white in the english version. The rest, well, it is the same. The only GREAT thing about the english version is...well, the english translated dialogue! The circle is almost complete. One more to go and 17 years of EVA will be over.
