Mastermind characters are the characters whose decisions are the main point of their respective stories. Usually, animes featuring mastermind characters will be rather dense and you will have to pay close attention in order to appreciate what's going on.Here's a few examples:These are some of the best known masterminds. We have Lelouche Lamperouge (A.K.A. Zero) from Code Geass and then we have Yagami Light and L from Death Note. Zero is more of an all-around mastermind compared to Light and L. He can do it all; from close quarters tactics, diplomacy, all the way to political coups. Kira and L are more of the witty and analytical kind. Carefully analyzing everything.Next up we have an unusual suspect. A bottom of the barrel scumbag with a near-lifetime of debt to his name. The name's Kaiji, he's a high-stakes gambler, vowing to bring down the pigs at the top of society. He has a profound hatred of dishonesty and distrust. Kaiji is different from those above because he's more believable. He's more human, he doesn't have superpowers and he's not "out of this world" intelligent; he has streets smarts and a heart of gold.So what's your favorite kind of mastermind?
