This one starts with a recap of Saburo played by Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai, SMAP) telling Riko played by Tanaka Rena (Drug Store Girl, Gegege no Kitaro) that he thinks Minami played by Matsushita Nao (Top Caster, Good Job) is his woman of destiny along with the scene where Riko asks him if he’s ever forgotten to tell someone that you love them and goodbye. Saburo tells her that if he is her destiny they’ll meet again. Then the episode opens with Saburo and Kensaku played by Tanihara Shosuke (Deru Toko Demasho!, Mop Girl) playing a game while they have coffee at an outdoor café. Then Kensaku wants to know if Riko said anything about him after their double date. Saburo tells him to give up on her but Kensaku replies it’s just like being bitten by a shark rather than pull away you need to press forward. But Saburo complains that since he’s met Riko nothing has gone right. He’s resolved to make her leave as he paces in front of her apartment rehearsing lines to say. When he knocks a bleary eyed Riko answers the door and tells him she’s hungry, make me something. He comes in and fixes her a meal, finding out that she’s been working on a novel. As he’s making her coffee he discovers a prepaid ferry ticket to her home in Oshima.Another fun episode and they’ve changed the plot around enough from the “My Sassy Girl” movie it keep the plot interesting without destroying the feel of the film. I loved the scene where he’s trying to throw her out of the apartment, but as soon as she tells him to cook he meekly agrees.Download the Raw video file from the tracker here, the soft subs are here.
