Saburo played by Kusanagi Tsuyoshi (Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai, SMAP) meets the bus driver played by Sasaki Kuranosuke (Shikaotoko Aoniyoshi, Bambino!) who tells him about Riko’s former boyfriend and brings him to a hospital to see for himself. He had been diagnosed with a fatal disease which was too far advanced for treatment, he decided that it would be better for Riko played by Tanaka Rena (Drug Store Girl, Gegege no Kitaro) if he just went off on his own and died without letting her know. All that’s left is for Riko to forget him. But Saburo doesn’t think that she’ll be able to forget him. The bus driver asks that Saburo keep it a secret, to which Saburo reluctantly agrees. Later Riko gives Saburo some violets she won in a raffle, she thinks Saburo is acting weird and mistakenly assumes it’s about Minami played by Matsushita Nao (Top Caster, Good Job). Riko tells him that she knows that Minami likes someone else and she was supposed to keep it a secret but now she feels relieved that she told him, because it’s not good to keep secrets.Excellent episode although on the sad side the drama is following the main details of the film with some differences, in the film the boyfriend has already been dead for a while and she knows this. I loved the racket ball match to determine who’d be able to marry Riko, looks like there maybe another lab romance before to long.Download the RAW video bit torrent files here, the soft subs are here.
