Saimoe 2008 preliminaries Group 3 is now out, again, huge thanks to Ando of AnimeSuki for doing all the translations and making the post. He has also translated all the other groups but I cannot find the translations in a massive thread so I will just post them up as he makes a new post for each group.Now for the girls I do know.Tsumugiya Ururu (Bleach)Rofl. So other than her fitting the quintessential robot loli bill, I think I can safely say she will be out.Sylvie Mirabeau (Kishin Taisen Gigantic Formula)Eh France's? No.Helen (Claymore)Nope, not even close to moe. Out.Mitsuki Hayase (Kimi ga Nozomu Eien)Not yet watched the series, but she is hawt. Unfortunately I doubt she will make it in.Sonomiya Karen (Sky Girls)Eh lol. If she had a better placing maybe she would make it in. Still, she has a chance.Hoshimi-sama (Darker than Black)AHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAEuphemia li Britannia (Code Geass R2)She has been dead since near the end of season 1! Still her popularity with many will probably get her in, after seeing the Geass fanboygasm in the previous group.Tome (Niijuu Mensou no Musume)The maid? Impossible.Ethana (Tower of Druaga ~The Aegis of Uruk~)No. She is not even close.Kozuki Michiko (BLUE DROP ~Tenshitachi no Gikyoku~)Credit Yukino Satsuki for making me actually remember this girl from the series. However she plays the innocent type, and doubtful that she will be able to stand up against any other possible giant in this group.Deneve (Claymore)Um, no. In fact all Claymore characters are impossible much thanks to the recent fall and winter, not to mention spring and summer series that had quite a lot of moe series.Amanda Werner (Blassreiter)Hot, hot, hot. Unfortunately she is probably going to be eliminated, but I can still hope, right?Venis (Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Oure de)I am in two minds about this one. But Kimiaru is hardly well-known, and if even Miyu did not get in, I doubt she can too.Sate (Kaiba)Who? I do not remember such a character in Kaiba. Dammit. But anyway, no Kaiba characters are going to make it in. Period.And so, that sums up Group 3! Looking at the other contestants there seem to be not many powerhouses in this group, but Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is in, so you never know.
