She saves Xion from his mysterious plight by the sea, and is soon involved with him and joins Weissritter in the struggle against the forces of invasion sent by a splitoff of Runevale Kingdom. Elwing is also revealed in the course of action in the game as being the Princess of Fontina, the kingdom of elves, thereby being of royal blood.As I did not complete the game, I do not know what the ending for Elwing was in Shining Tears.In Wind, a year later, she is portrayed as a side character that meets Souma and travels with him to band together once again with the members of Weissritter, and to fight against the new threat that shadows the land of End Earth. Not much else is known about Elwing. Like an elf, she uses a bow and arrow very proficiently, and is able to call upon the Spirits of the Winds to assist her. She is also able to communicate with Lassi, the Spirit King of the Winds.DescriptionElwing is primarily a young girl at heart despite her age, for elves it must be normal to be in young adulthood just past 100 years of age. She is cheerful, upbeat, and very innocent, though she can be deadly serious when she wants to be.Elwing was also designed by Taka Tony, as were all the characters in both games and the anime, which was adapted off Shining Wind. She caters mostly to the elf fandom, and for her type, is certainly amongst the more gorgeous or, as some may prefer, the cuter.Miscellaneous InformationElwing's name was translated in the English versions of the games to Elwyn, but it is usually preferred to use her original name of Elwing instead.Two known figures of Elwing are out. The first was by Max Factory, and featured Elwing in her swimsuit, and was the April Figure of the Month. The second was featured this month for the theme Elven Beauty, and can be found as the July Figure of the Month.Elwing's outfit only slightly changed from Shining Tears to Shining Wind.
