As you might've inferred from the title, just watched the Law of Ueki on Animax. Episodes 7 where Ueki admits that his sense of justice is a mere copy of his God Candidate mentor, Kobasen's (「コバセンの法則」 The Law of Kobasen) and 8 where Ueki battles power-user Onimon who kicks up dirt but fires cannonballs (「正々堂々！鬼紋の法則」 Fair and Square! The Law of Onimon). Ueki's English voice actor (actress?) sounds like the actor for Natsume in Alice Academy. Listening to him/her (without getting distracted by the kawaii but urusai "wub" between Ueki and Mori) led me to thinking: wouldn't it be chou cute if the VA really was the same for both parts? Just like how one seiyuu — Paku Romi-sensei played these exact two roles?? Just a thought... ^^ ~nik who, had she been the casting director for both anime shows, would have cast the same person in those two roles PS This seems to be the "cute" blog post. In episode 7, Ueki battles the guy who has, among his talents, a sewing zai. That's a cute power, as Ueki casually notes. ^^ PPS I can't let this li'l post go without gushing over the genius of Paku-sensei: her dramatic performance as Ueki in episode 7 (Ore no seigi ja nai!!), a beautiful foil to her "normal" Ueki, packed a punch worthy of the strongest power-user (more gushing if you follow this link). invaluable resource(s) Anime News Network » The Law of Ueki we-love-anime (for the image)
