Ouran Koukou Host Club had ended two weeks ago, and I know it’s a bit late to talk about it now, but I still want have a final say for this wonderful anime. It’s a pity they’d decided to stop on episode 26, but according to my classmate who’d been supplying me with the Ouran Episodes, there is going to be a second season. If that were true, now wouldn’t that be good? =DPersonally, I have not been following the anime since the start. I had only decided to pick up this anime when one of my classmates were asking me for my opinion on which anime should he watch. I had then noticed Ouran, which was listing on animesuki. A friend of mine in Livejournal had also been talking about Ouran. It shouldn’t be that bad after all, I thought. I then introduced Ouran to my classmate. Yep, it wasn’t a mistake after all, when I have been enjoying this hilarious anime the whole while after starting it. ^_^Episode 24 is about Kyouya’s story with Tamaki. It was indeed a touching scene, where Kyouya, who is third in his family, were having extremely high expectations from his father, who own the Ootori Cooperation. Both his brothers have already maintained their position as the top in class, and his father will not longer be satisfied with the same achievement. It was suddenly, that the heir of the Suou family died, and Tamaki’s father took over as the successor of the Suou’s family businesses. Then again, Tamaki, being the only son, automatically became the heir to succeed to the family’s business. The Suou has always been a competitor in the business world with the Ootori family, and Kyouya has been requested by his father to take care of Tamaki, who’d just arrived from France. Indeed, Tamaki is a mixed blood whose father is Japanese, while having a French mother. Tamaki, being a romantic person, obtains popularity among his classmates within a few days. Meanwhile, Kyouya tried to be friendly with him, but all the while, he can't stand Tamaki, whom he had regarded as an idiot. However, the idiot seems to be the only one who was able to look through Kyouya, and they'd become good friends in the end. They had even founded the host club together!Bapa borak, anak rintik; Like father, like sonTamaki looks serious in the reflection...Tamaki said, "After the school festival, the club is gong to be dissolved."*slap* Mr. Ootori slapping his son out of disappointment.Episode 25 was mainly about the 43rd Ouran School Festival. Naturally, the host club would also take part in the opening ceremony, and in this particular day, the host club would be open to public, where the members of the host club are required to serve not only the students, but also their... mothers, lol. Meanwhile Kyouya continues with his lies which I'd rather call bullshit, "the theme of this club is to culture ourselves with social education", Tamaki had a visit from his father. Like father like son, as they say, as Tamaki's father was also very charming like his son. Kyouya also received a visit from his father, but his father was rather disappointed when he found out that his son, whom he had planned to make his successor of his business, had been involved in such a worthless club. It wasn't nice to slap someone with his glasses on, but that was indeed what Kyouya's father did to his son on the spot. Um. And here comes Tamaki's grandmother... with Tamaki's fiancé, Eclair Tonnerre. Tamaki had no choice but to listen to his grandmother's orders. Tamaki's history was sad. He came to Japan leaving his mother behind. Tamaki's grandmother had always hated Tamaki, because he is not anak gahara, or in another words, Tamaki's father married another women which he met in France and had Tamaki, when he already have a wife back in Japan. In the end... Tamaki announced that the host club would be... dissolved. In another word, disband. He would be returning to France with his future wife. The end for episode 25. Happy ending, eh? And yes, it was also in this episode that Kyouya told Haruhi that her debts for the vase has been fully paid, although I wondered whether did Ecliar paid it, or Kyouya became symphatical towards Haruhi. The Grand Tonnerre is a dangerous company which has been taking over Japanese companies.."If you marry Eclair, I'll let you see your mother," says Tamaki's grandmotherThe Ootori Medical Company... shall soob be bought by the Grand Tonnerre company.Hikaru fell from the carriage..."Ehhh...?" Tamaki in a car with his fiancé"I got 'cha..."K.O. - Kyouya Ootori. The student who handed over the business cleverly tried to hide his name"Hey... KYOUYA!"The real happy ending was actually in episode 26. Eclair was actually the third daughter of the Tonnerre family. The Grand Tonnerre is a France-based company which had been buying over Japanese companies... and this had included the Ootori's. This should explain why would Kyouya's father be unhappy. Tamaki's grandmother wanted Tamaki to marry Eclair Tonnere, to avoid the family from taking over the Suou's business. However, it was also revealed that Eclair only wanted to reunite Tamaki with his mother, who happened to be Eclair's personal escort in France. In the end, Tamaki followed Eclair back to France. The members of the host club tried to stop Tamaki from going, but they had also got some problems on their hands. The Ootori's armies had stopped them from going to Tamaki. But little to the soldiers know, that Honey-senpai is a Karate master, and Mori-senpai is also a martial arts master. The twins had brought a carriage, and Haruhi got on it and went for Tamaki. Like I said, it was a happy ending. Although Hikaru fell from the carriage and Kaoru went down the carriage to help his twin brother, Haruhi managed to catch up to the car Tamaki is in with Eclair. The Grand Tonnerre returned the Ootori essets to Kyouya, and Kyouya returned it to his father, which means that Kyouya is the real owner of the Ootori business but he handed over it to his father. Final ratings:Art: 9/10Personally, I like how the characters are drawn very much. The colours are really attractive, and the backgrounds in the anime is also very nice, specially the clock tower which is pink in colour, and also the shadows.Characters: 8/10There you go. The main characters of this anime are mainly males, other than Haruhi herself, but she usually dresses us as a male, and some fangirls might as well end up liking her too, meanwhile fanboys, including your truly, would also like the cute Haruhi in a female dress, especially in episode 18, where Kyouya, who is a cool person, ended up in a shopping centre without his handphone and wallet. The character features goes from Tamaki, who is a handsome blond to Mori-senpai, who is as quiet as a stick, but would do rather unexpected reactions when in some embarassing situations. The twins portray brotherly love, in another words, Yaoi, or love between boys, however it was also revealed that Hikaru, the more aggressive of the twin also has feelings for Haruhi.Story: 8/10The story rounds around the host club, a club which features handsome, cute, cool, quiet, gay and *inserts any other describtion fangirls would like* boys. Mainly, only ladies would become customers to the club, although boys are also allowed. Although, it all changed when Haruhi, a female, joined the host club, as a male. The secret of Haruhi being a female was only known among the club members. There goes all the father and daughter play. Mainly, it's humour and romance with a little... yaoi. lol. BGM: 7/10The background music of this anime isn't really attracting, although I have quite enjoyed them. You must listen to the music while watching the anime, or else you will not like it anyway. Mainly violin and those ochestra musicals.OP/ED: 8/10"Sakura Kiss" and "Shissou" are really nice songs. hughwong said that he didn't liked "Sakura Kiss", but I myself like the song very much. I have actually heard the song before I started watching the anime when music_and_more shared with us the OP single. Personally, I like "Shissou" more than "Sakura Kiss". "Shissou" is also available in piano version, and I really adore it. You can find some random people playing the piano in Youtube. I was expecting a second OP or ED, but somehow, they didn't release one. The songs are not boring, and are quite catchy. Overall, I gave them both an average of 8.Overall: 8 out of 10 (Awesome)This is an anime which will be one of my favoutites for a long time. :D
