Yeah, complain all you like about the long title. I could have made two separate blog posts, but since I have limited time on the computer and internet, I might as well merge the two posts into one. Well, the two topics have something to do together anyways. I have done the first soundtrack some time ago, and I am now doing the second and last part of the soundtrack. Again, I had downloaded the soundtrack from Nipponsei. Some of you might worship them; so do I. Well, appreciation is needed by minglong and the others who bought the actual OST. Well... to fully remove Ouran Koukou Host Club off my computer, I had to also remove the soundtrack. However, there are a few songs which have really long names, like for example, track number 6, and it goes like this: "Ouran Concerto Moderato marciale for oboe, 2 horns, violin and string quartet". The CD burner decided to scream, and I had to rename the tracks in order to make them fit the burner.Again, I had also removed 10 episodes of School Rumble. I need more space for Shuffle! So, what is so good about this soundtrack, you ask. I can confidently tell you that there is nothing too special about this soundtrack, other than the long names and it's cover is much nicer than the first soundtrack's. Like the previous soundtrack, this soundtrack also comes with a limited edition character card and a bonus disc featuring "Ouran Koukou Host Mania!" by Sakamoto Maaya and a few others.Shissou by LAST ALLIANCE, the ending theme of Ouran Koukou Host Club, is also available in this soundtrack, although it is only a TV size version. You'll have to get the single to get the full version. So... this song can be used to temporary full those who like the song, and these people might as well get the single later on.Matsukaze Masaya, the voice of Ootori Kyouya, sings "Tsumetai Yoru" as Kyouya's image song. His voice is strong like a man's. The music is quite nice too. I hear guitar and piano instrumentals every now and then, and the pairing of these two instruments make good music.Meanwhile, the twins' image song were sung together by the twins. "Bokura no Love Style" is a song performed using a guitar with the mixture of bass and drum. Its chorus sounded like some church's youth song, and would sound better if more people were to sing it, the more the better."Mata Ashita", which literally means "Goodbye" or "Let's meet again tomorrow", is the last vocalled track. It's a song sung by all the members of the club. Mainly it's sung by the male members of the club, leaded by Tamaki and Kyouya, while the twins sings the part before the chorus. All of the males sing the chorus, while the females (including Honey-senpai) made random laughing sound evey now and then. This is a good group song, and I give a 8/10 rating to this song.Meanwhile I won't be making any comments on all of the BGM and vocalless tracks, I'll do a few due to the lack of time. Hirano Yoshisa, the composer of most of the vocalless, is an experienced composer who composed songs for Final Fantasy and others.Track six is a song you would be able to listen throughout the anime. Track 18 is a really soft and soothing song. Track nineeen is "Sakura Kiss for piano". Minglong calls it divine, but I do not like it at all.
