Hi,

It occurred to me that some of the Anime I've watched are a bit twisted (or shortened) in a way so that I'd never want to watch it again compared to the Manga version, though some might be better. Well, why not bring a discussion of what and why?

Animes which were Manga that I liked:

Hayate no Gotoku - what can I say. I just like it better. Seems more loli and stuff to me :P

Bamboo Blade - It pretty much follows the Manga.

Minami-ke + Lucky Star - Movements and such gives me more of a laugh.

Naruto + Bleach - I pretty much like the way they make long fillers to piss me off. Brings more temptation to watch it more.

Manga which I liked over the Anime version:

Claymore - Much more fighting and is still continuing with little to no botched up scene... as it's the "original".

Fruits Basket - Was longer and seemed to have explained more than the Anime.

Negima!? - Is longer and more descriptive than the shows.

And that's all for today.

I'd say I prefer to read the manga if the anime isn't going to cover the entire manga's run. This seems like it's usually the case. The anime will get some "fake" ending before the manga is even finished!
