So yeah, what do you guys think the worst and best anime are so far? I'll say Zaizen Jotaro is the worst (yet somehow still pretty entertaining).

As for the best one, it's close between Zero no Tsukaima and Muteki Kanban Musume. I'll probably go with MKM, though, since it has really stupid humor which I'm a sucker for.

I'm going to be most predictable person ever and say Honey & Clover, though Akazukin is surprisingly good too. As for worst, I have no idea.

I cannot decide between Tonagura, Tsuyokiss, Project BLUE Chikyuu SOS, and Chokotto Sister.  But that's just my opinion.  I haven't seen Zaizen Jotaro yet, might not watch it anyway.  I'm gonna go for Honey and Clover too, but Le Chevalier d'Eon and Night Head Genesis look like dark horses too.

Edit:  Oops it's only now I've realized I wrote something incomplete.  I meant I'm picking Honey and Clover as the best anime for summer 2006.  And that I consider Le Chevalier d'Eon and Night Head Genesis as dark horses.

There are too many horrible shows this season, though I think that Tonagura is the worst one. Still, Project Blue Chikyuu SOS and Zero no Tsukaima also deserve credit.

The best one is in my opinion Otogi Juushi Akazukin, with Night Head Genesis coming in at a close second.

Innocent Venus and Night Head Genesis are promising.

i got no worst since i dun really have prejudice or anything to a show.

for best. quite a few such as Honey and Clover 2, Zero no Tsukaima, NHK ni Youkoso!, are perhaps my top 3 pick.

After watching it, FLAG is turning out to be one of the better ones. If only it didn't have the CG!!!

CG!!!!!!!!

My favorite two would have to be Zero no Tsukaima and NHK ni Youkoso.

Eh? More than half the scenes in FLAG had CG elements in them, or are you targetting specific usages of CG? CG is a very general term these days.

Zero no Tsukaima and Muteki Kanban Musume (sadly) and ef - a fairy tale of the two. The NHK anime will never deliver what the manga could do. Haven't watched FLAG yet.

For me, the worst anime that I had watched was NHK (i know i am going to be blasted for this) but I found the whole artwork and the premise to be rather disappointing. I had high expectations of it, which was probably why it failed so badly for me. However, many of my anime friends (including the ones that are blogging with me in the animeblogger.net blog that i have) all loved NHK. So, i guess i just have weird taste.

For the best series, i will go with yet another controversial choice, Bokura ga ita. I found myself liking this slice of life /school life/romance anime a lot because of the portrayal of the characters and the development. It's nicely paced, with a simple but beautiful artwork.

I must say FLAG and Chevalier might be good stuff. Can't wait ...

I'm really enjoying NHK now things have picked up with ep #5 but if others' reactions are anything to go by I ought to get hold of the manga somehow.

Actually Bokura Ga Ita is my fave right now - my 'Kare Kano-lite' comparison still stands but it's proving to be really enjoyable. The artwork must be an acquired taste I guess, because I really like it. :)

Well most of the best stuff I'm watching is continuations of Spring shows, but, hmm, if I only consider thigns I've seen more than one episode of, I think it's just Hachikuro II, Zero no Tsukaima, Welcome to the NHK!, and Bokura ga Ita.

Of those I think the best would probably be NHK, but it is also sorta My Kind Of Thing.
