What's with all the bloggers quitting all of a sudden? Is it just the Summer heat or what? Should I delete blogs that have quit or just keep them around in case of a blog resurrection?
I'd like to see some of these quitters come back, so I guess I'll just keep the recent deaths around for a few months.

I heard that the AB Antenna has some kind of dynamic rss checking system. Perhaps you could simply check "dead" or "hiatus" rss feeds once a day to lessen the load?
That could be a pain to code and tag, though. Is there a way to know what blogs have not updated in say 4 months?
Yeah, there is a way to automate that.

It's much easier to scale than to write code. Not cheaper, but easier... I'm sure one of these days I'll write something to do that, but not any time soon.
It's not even really a matter of resources that makes me ask. It just seems like everyone's running out of gas. Next thing you know, Omni's going to get emo and delete RC!
I'd say at least try and find a way to check with people to make sure that you aren't accidentally deleting things.
Technically, I'm not dead yet. I'm just taking an indefinite hiatus until there's something worth writing about.
Well, I won't delete anything unless I'm sure the writer quit. Either from them saying so, or the blog being inactive for like a year (now that Anime Nano's a year old!).
