Um, sorry for not getting to this (the forums weren't showing this post correctly). I think the best way to fix the long meta would just be to run it though feedburner. It looks like you switched to wordpress (were you on blogger or blogspot before?). Unfortunately, Blogger's rss sucks. Hopefully this answer will help other folks.

My entry meta is...er.....hellishly long when expanded, in fact, it may even be my entire blog post. Is there a way to shorten it?
