What the topic said.

My new post failed to turn up, and I'm pretty damn sure it didn't activate the swear filter this time around! Then I checked the User CP in case the Feedburner URL needed replacing, and found the On Hiatus box checked.

Is there some sort of auto-timer that switches your blog's status to On Hiatus without informing you? When you haven't posted for a month or something? And does said On Hiatus status prevent new posts from turning up? It's quite annoying if so, and I'd like to see this fixed, please.

Yes, one month and you are set on hiatus.  Yes, it prevents your posts from showing up.  I don't think it's automatic; I believe Hung just sorts the entries by "last updated" and flags all blogs that haven't posted in a while.

That explains a lot. That also makes two posts, now. Ugh. Yeah, I think I'd like to see this fixed, or at the very least an opt-out option for those of us who like posting at our own pace.

Now you know why anime series always have fillers.

That's just a thing I do so that AN can be more efficient (I think more than half of the blogs on AN are "on hiatus"). I think it's pretty reasonable. If getting your post on AN is that important, then please check your account when you post after a month (it's not hardwired in there, I just check now and then).

Owen: I'll try to remember not to put you on hiatus anymore.
