I noticed that my request for Yukifu to be added to AnimeNano didn't go through. I was wondering if the rule regarding a one-month-old blog needs to be strictly enforced. For someone who has been posting at least one entry every day, it's a bit disheartening when, you know, nobody reads it. I've been doing a bit of blog-hopping to help promote Yukifu, but that's not a method that will garner the attention of the average reader.

 I guess the request I have here is "can you add me pretty please with a cherry on top?" I don't intend on orphaning Yukifu anytime soon, I promise.

Maybe another thing to consider is to leave users a message as to why their blog submission was blocked?

It's a slippery slope then.  Besides, you can always resubmit after it's been 1 month.  I volunteered to do the approvals here, so it's an extra duty on top of running my own blog.  I'd rather not have to write why each and every blog was rejected, but I will respond to anyone that asks about their specific entry.

Yukifu is only 10 days old, and while I am sure you are trustworthy, I do not have any way of knowing, and you are not really very close to the 1 month limit.  Hard rules help me make fair and timely decisions on which blogs will be accepted.  Please resubmit when your blog meets the guidelines set out in the FAQs.

Well, poo. I was hoping for an exception.

 The blog itself (since its creation) is actually almost 2 months old, but "Hello World" was hidden -- I was working on it for at least a month.

Everyone wants to be the exception to the rule...

Btw, I also had a question. I submitted my blog for review a while ago (or at least it seems like it) and I haven't gotten any emails or any notification of review...just curious about that...?

It was accepted already (I think yesterday or the day before)...  and you didn't submit it a while ago, it was only submitted a few days ago.  I doubt it was in the queue for more than 3 days and that's just because it was the holidays.

Hi, I'm also curious as to why my blog (http://hobbyhovel.blogspot.com/) has been rejected a number of times. I do realize that I had less than 10 "real" entries a while back, but at this point the blog seems to be consistent with all of the requirements listed. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

Blogspot blogs have to run their feed through feedburner, per the FAQs.  Anime Nano doesn't like the Atom feed that blogspot uses.
