OMG OMG i just recieved my 1/6 Saber Holiday Version and i take it out and notice that the foot that is at an angle is not even connected to the platform. im totally freaking out and have no idea what to do. at first it just leaned a little. went out to see a movie and when i get back its face down on my desk. I freaked so i put it back into the box.

Could someone plz help me. im somewhat a poor high schooler and dont have allot of money to spend on other than stuff like computer related products or other anime products.

BTW, this is my first PVC figure and i feel that it should have alot of sentimental value to me being my first. but PLZ help me.

Hi! Congrats on your new fig. Anyway, if your Saber has the "leaning syndrome", you might want to try one of two ways to fix it. You have to be very, very careful though or else, your Saber's as good as trash.

1. Get a hairdryer and use it on the part where the leaning starts (usually at the legs). Just air it out until it's quite bendy. Then you bend it into the shape that you want and rinse it with cold, running water while holding the part in place. Be careful not to heat it too much or else you'll burn the plastic.

2. You can put the legs in hot water until it's bendy. Same procedure above.

Btw, where did you get your Saber?

Hi HolyAlchemy1, sorry to hear that your first figure had to be so traumatizing. It may help if you post some pictures of your Saber. Especially the connecting portion of the figure to the display base.

I hope you got this Saber from a reputable store because Saber (especially casual wear series of Sabers) is one of most bootlegged figures in the market. For your figure to display such severe leaning syndrome in a matter of hours and seemingly poor contact, the possibility of an bootlegged item is there. Do check out online reviews of the figure to see if there are glaring discrepancies between the product and the one in your possession.

As for correcting bent figures, I would have to disagree with the common method of using hot water  (unless it is VERY bent, probably like yours). Softening the PVC and applying stress would seem like a good instant remedy but it actually weakens the structural integrity of the figure over time, eventually rendering it undisplayable. If your figure is legit and only beginning to bend, just pack it back into the box and 'rest' the figure. My experience have shown that the figure reverts to its original state after 2-4 weeks. Now when you return her to the display shelf, ensure the centre of her gravity is directly above point or axis of support. This may or may not be possible depending on whether or not the figure is screwed onto the base.

Just my 2 cents. All the bless for your Saber.
