So I've implemented a new feature. Basically, if you're on "hiatus," animenano doesn't check your rss for new entries. This is to help cut down on the amount of processor time that anime nano uses. I've put a few blogs on hiatus because they haven't posted in a while/aren't about anime anymore.

If you are on hiatus and start writing again, you can change your blog back by visiting the user cp and checking the box that says "on hiatus?"  Also, if you know you're not going to be writing anything, it'd be nice if you could switch your blog to hiatus mode so Anime Nano doesn't check for no reason. Here's the blogs that I've put on hiatus, FYI:

  • Anime Almanac
  • Cogito Ergo Sum
  • dandy candy
  • Die, Fanboys!
  • Equivocal Resolution
  • Mangaminx's Lair
  • Paradox - Spectrum
  • Random Mess
  • Renegade Anime Blog
  • Sama Zama
  • tokyojupiter

Hung, just a thought, but could you make it so blogs that haven't posted in x months (like 1 or 2) could go automatically on haitus, so you don't have to houseclean all the time?

Or maybe that would just waste resources, just a thought...

That'd be good. But I'm too busy/lazy to do it right now. Plus I don't really care how many resources I use anymore, since I'm leaving this host pretty soon.

There's an even better way that people have described that I'm planning to implement eventually.

Sorry to be a bother but I've been away for a while and am trying to come on back. I was automatically put on hiatus but now I've unchecked it and I'm still not showing up on the lists. Though I guess what's happened here happened everywhere since I stopped appearing on Animeblogger Antenna and Blog Suki as well.

A quick look at your feed shows some errors. I'm willing to bet that's what is causing the problems. If you end up fixing your feed and your posts still don't show up, lemme know.

Hmm, I'll have to check that out. Thanks for the heads up.
