And so it is the end of yet another month! So long May, hello June. Month of the Gemini twins, the astrological opposite of my star sign. Go figure what mine is for yourself if you are interested, rawr.Anyway this month has been full of events, and loss of money. So here is the rough summary of what has been featured on this blog for this past month. Before I forget, the image above is of Setsuka as how she looks in SoulCalibur IV.Blog UpdatesA new layout theme was chosen for this month, after I found out about Blogcrowds custom templates. Finally, a 3-column theme that I can actually use and allow content to be organized properly. I was also informed by quite a few of you that the old widescreen version of the 2-column Minima theme was difficult to read for some of you, so I may be sticking with this one for good. Why can they not have two resolutions for different aspect ratio monitors? Sheesh. Technology. So good yet so bad. Original post regarding the new layout can be found here. The world clock has been removed, the reason why was explained in the original post regarding the layout change. I also recently made a post on my blog traffic stats, which, according to a few comments, has been quite the hilarious read. In it, I also explained my reason for getting a counter, it is in an inconspicuous spot at the bottom of the left sidebar.I also unveiled Ruri-chan for the first time. Thanks to Double for his help with her name once again.Anime Girl of the MonthDid you miss the Banchou of this month, Minami Haruka? Though I could not write as much for her as I wanted to, due to the lack of an actual storyline in Minami-ke, she is stilll quite a nice girl to write about.Figure of the MonthA late photoshoot but still up nevertheless, the Figure of the Month was KOS-MOS Ver. 4 from Alter. If you missed her, head to the link now to check her out.FiguresRight, this month's arrival was Kuonji Shinra alone (post where I received her). Unfortunately I was unable to receive other figures which I had preordered, whilst making quite a few figure preorders. My wallet will go bust in the second half of the year probably, with, on average, 2 figures coming in every month...though August may have 3. Image of the Yoko figure below thanks to AkibaHobby's review.AnimeTwo posts back or so I did a small preview of the summer anime series coming. No new anime was watched this month though I finally managed to start on Real Drive. Not too bad but it may get heady for some and not seem to go anywhere as regards the storyline.I also blogged for the first time on an anime series, Kaiba. The first three episodes were done this month and can be found here, here and here. Expect me to continue blogging on Kaiba all the way, for it is a beautiful series.GamesNo new movements, other than me continuing to play Vegas 2 over Hamachi with more and more people and not just CK alone. I just reached the rank of Captain soon in that game, thanks to all our fun games together. Other than that, I have officially quitted Otomedius, I may play it once each time I visit the arcade for fun but not really into it anymore to bother.Image thanks to GameSpot.Multimedia & MusicMore Youtube this month unfortunately, where multimedia was concerned. You can check out the script I did at the start of this month for the Terminator Spoof here, it was requested by Weijie. I also found the PV of Kaiba's OP titled "Never" by Seira on Youtube and you can watch it in my post here. Finally, due to Streetfest, some videos of the epic dances done by a group at Streetfest can also be found here.My impressions of the spring anime OP/ED can be found here.Special FeaturesSome of you may wondering where the second part of the workout tetralogy is. Wait, who am I kidding, do you guys even wait for that? Well if any of you do happen to be waiting, the reason it is not up is because of how bloody huge it is. In fact taking more than a month to do one part is not going to be surprising, when you see the size of the second post. I set down a guarantee that the second part will be finished by June, but for the last two parts, well, I cannot promise one part each every month. Really, it is freaking huge.Other than that, we had two outings this month. You can find out about the first in this post, and the second, where we went to Streetfest, in this post. Special thanks to the cosplayers and the people whom I went with, and for those who allowed me the use of their pictures.I also finally finished the last part of the Trilogy of the Circle, Farp will always be a superhero in my eyes. For those not in the know, the Trilogy of the Circle series was a 3-post series on my circle of friends. Links to the first two posts can be found in the third itself.LifeFinally returned to working out regularly at the gym, and have been forced into situations on the road once again. Read about my first day's return to the gym and what happened on the road here. That concludes the month of May, more things happening outside of the blog than within, but oh well. So now, what is in store for the month of Jun for the blog?Ignis, from the eroge Jingai Makyo.June '08 PreviewRuri-chan is expected to finally make her debut on this blog in June, if I can get the program mentioned above not long after it releases and do a good job of capturing Ruri in her glory. Further blogroll additions to my already extensive blogroll are not planned at this point in time, most of the time it happens on the spot anyway.Where gaming is concerned, I still have no games I really feel like playing on a consistent basis. No new games are out that make me feel like getting them either, so the gaming scene for me will probably remain rather stagnant. It is expected that I will start on any summer series I want to watch that begin in June, but as usual, there will not be any I am blogging on, as Kaiba was a huge exception.I am expecting figure arrivals of Yoko (Enterbrain's), Imari Kurumi and quite possibly Elwing (Kotobukiya) in June. Imari may be iffy as she was released way earlier and yet the supplier has not informed La Tendo of her being in stock. No preorders are currently planned...wait, when did preorders ever become planned in the first place, other than for Blanc Neige? The Figure of the Month is unknown at this point in time for June, because of the outing we are planning (details to follow below). The Anime Girl of the Month will be Kuonji Shinra from Kimiaru. Picture of her taken from the eroge of the same title, where the anime was adapted from. And yes, there is an outing for this community I "head" (rofl, I am freaking shameless, yes?). The outing is expected to be an outdoors photoshoot, even if you have no figures, you are more than welcome to join us in the shoot and chat and stuff. More details will follow in a post near the start of next month. I will also be doing a post on our group itself, to explain ourselves to the outside world and to other SG'ers and bloggers (global or not). That sums it up for what is expected in the month of June. So I hope you will all stay tuned and continue to read my blog, without which this blog will have almost no meaning. I leave you again with the most beautiful woman of the month, Elynn Koh.Thinking of a title for June,Panther
