I don't care liao. School reopened the day before yesterday (Wednesday) for us here in Malaysia and I have school tomorrow but I'm going to put that aside for now. Besides, I don't have any homeworks yet for the time being so I am rather free now and I have slept for at least 5 hours when I came back from school in the afternoon just now. Keeping up a web log while maintaining your grades and on the other hand going on duty in two different places (I am a prefect and a librarian at the same time, FYI) isn't an easy job and you can die out of exhaustion, I tell you! And now without any furthur ado, I am going into the main topic of what I have planned for my whole year of 2007 for Yamaki's Anime Blog, my humble blog you're currently reading. The year 2006 had ended and now 2007 crawls in slowly and without me noticing (actually I had realized it but I didn't want to care about it so soon. Blah.), 5 days from the 365 days of the year has passed by already so soon! This would be my first resolution which I have ever made in my life, seriously, and I'm glad that I have planned something for myself for the year, or else I'll be like an exhausted, almost-want-to-die ant before I know it myself.Resolution #1: Finish watching all of the animes in hand before starting new onesCurrently, I have like a mountain full of animes which I haven't watched, both inside and outside of my computer. Inside my computer, there's Asatte no Houkou, Kanon, Negima?!, Shuffle! as well as Tsubasa Chronicle. Outside of the computer, whether be it in CDROMs or VCDs, they include the 26 episode Infinite RYVIUS which I had bought from Singapore, Honey & Clover and Full Metal Alchemist which hughwong had handed over to me during the first day of school (we're bringing banned items to school. We phail as prefects!). What I am glad about now is that Asatte no Houkou is about to come to an end and I shall be free soon. What is this all about? Am I saying that animes are a burden? Nope, watching animes is not, but reviewing animes is. I have been stopping myself from watching the next episode of an anime if I have not review it to prevent myself from getting myself spoiled.Resolution #2: Improve my writing skills to prevent readers from dying because of boredomIn other words, write more creatively lah! I have realized that the articles that I have written in this blog/journal is not as interesting as others. This is relatively true and I am rather bugged by the fact. Resolution #3: Improve my grammar in EnglishNow, this is more important than my previous resolution. Notice that I frequently do grammatical mistakes? Although I am famed for being one of the best in English in class, I have been having problems with engaging in intellectual conversations and communicating with others fluently. Whether it be using the wrong tense (like messing up past tense with past participals) to deliberate spelling mistakes (like 'license' to 'licence' and vice versa), I wish that by the end of the year, I may be able to fully regain control of the English grammar rule and avoid silly and stupid mistake. To do this, I may need the help of my readers to point out my mistake by leaving a comment*.Resolution #4: Do/Write at least 10 blog updates/articles per monthThis can be easilly reached during the school holidays two months ago as I am able to write an article a day. But as the schooling days starts, I have to put whichever is more important, and the answer, obviously and it's a matter-of-fact, school in front of everything else, and this means that I would not be able to do updates everyday. Perhaps only on weekends, if my brother would let me use the computer. Frankly, 10 is not a small number, neither it's a huge amount considering that there are 30 days in a month.Resolution #5: Create 3 Anime Music Videos (AMV)I've made 3 in 2005, 2 in 2006. I'm aiming to make another three this year. If it is possible, why not? Want to download my AMVs? Read my page at Animemusicvideos.org. I'm thinking of making one for Shakugan no Shana, one for Asatte no Houkou and another for Digimon Savers. Actually, I have already started to make the Shana one last November. It's just that I suddenly lost intetest. Anyway, I already have a few songs in my mind to be used in the music videos... hmm. Should be an easy one to achieve. :DResolution #6: Attend any cosplay events/conventions if they were held here in my placeDiao, the past year I've been reading a lot of reviews of cosplay event as well as conventions. If it is possible, Haruhi bless, that some events, whether be it cosplays or the Comic Fiesta, be held here in Kota Kinabalu, where I stay. lol. Of course, I'll bring my trusty 3.2 Megapixels Olympus camera (believe me, it shall turn into BenQ very soon) along.Resolution #7: Sleep by 4 a.m. everytime I stay up lateIndeed, I tend to stay up late to write. Usually, my creativity works best in the midnight when there's nobody around to look at you writing this, writing that. Plus, it's rather cool and quiet too and I can have my own space to visit blogs in where I might need not fear that sometimes NSFW stuffs might be around. Whoo... 4 a.m. is way late, but sometimes I tend to sleep at 6a.m. I'll see how it would go.Resolution #8: Be like any of the characters voiced by Tomokazu SugitaBecause any boy dreams to become Kyon, Yuuichi, Rin, Alfred and Hideki. At least I want to be able to mimic their sarcasticness, unusual kindness to girls and most of all... gather my own harem of girls! Muahaha. I wish more girls like Shiori would appear to me. Uguu.I wish I was Yuuichi.I couldn't write more. Nevertheless I've read quite a few blogs that have made their resolutions for the year. Let us jiayou and hope that by the end of the year, we've done what we've planned. :D"Whatever your resolutions are, may we at least put some effort into achieving it lah." - Kenny Siaorz
