So I finally got through all the shots I took today (yesterday now, at the time I am posting this) at Cosfest 2008, and this is the first time I had to fall upon a spare battery to complete taking pictures of the event, and I am expected to take even more pictures tomorrow (today).Ah well, because of the multitude of pictures I took today, the coverage will be split into 5 (yes f-i-v-e) posts in order not to overwhelm people with pictures and posts. Each post will autopost at intervals of 2 hours each from the time of this post. Thankfully Blogger now has that autopost feature, which enables this. This first post deals with shots taken inside the exhibition hall called the D'Marquee. As can be expected, my camera sucked at indoor shots, and those that Dead Snake managed to take before he had to leave early for another appointment, I will be using here. So for hi-res shots or removal of cosplay pictures that are under his set, do inform me and I will tell him accordingly. For hi-res shots in this post under my set, I only have 3, all are of the scythe-wielding angel girl. All the rest of the internal shots (including for other posts) I never saved because they all sucked thanks to noise or bad lighting or whatever. The rest of the pictures in case you are impatient are at my Cosfest album. Most of my shots really sucked, I eliminated a lot of shots from inside the dome. Not much to talk about, so here are the pictures. Feel free to identify the cosplayers I could not. Picture at top was the first image I took that was deemed saveable, of the banner over at Collateral Damage Studios's booth.IAHGames booth. Yes, that man inside the booth is RohNaga aka. Nizam. I took a picture with him, but that was under Squee's camera. Kagamine Rin from Vocaloid. Surprisingly enough, there was no Miku...maybe the second day? No one will ever make me believe this is not a trap. Ever. One of the better (and cuter) cosplayers at the event. All I know is she wields a scythe and has black wings, hence a scythe-wielding angel. Identification, anyone? The laughing man. He was so censored that not even a proper picture could be taken of him.Character from D.Gray-man I believe. These three must have sold out their souls to IAHGames. FYI, IAHGames was a sponsor of the event, hence Nizam's presence. From left to right, Granado Espada's male musketeer, some female from Hellgate: London, and GE's male fighter. The host or something of the event, Stephanie something, also cosplayed as the female elementalist from GE. That gave me a shock. Zhao Yun, but not sure from what game. Also a good cosplayer.Professor Franken Stein from Soul Eater. Also not bad. He was perhaps the first cosplayer I saw. Some merchandise on sale at a store selling anime merchandise. I got the blue ring you see in the middle, but took no pictures of it. I will probably do so if I get more loot or in another updates post in the near future. Best shot out of mine and DS' for this wonderful cosplayer. She was among the best throughout the day. Can someone please identify her, thanks. Our pictures do no justice. And yes, I do think her pretty. More D.Gray-man. Yes, the girl on the right was at TCC last week, in the exact same costume. Spear-wielding guy with some fur thingie. Cool-looking, but who is he cosplaying as?C.C. from Code Geass, but not sure who the person on the right is. Also, this same C.C. was at last week's TCC...as a blue nekomimi. Beatmania couple combo. Pretty good, the girl. Not sure about the guy since I never saw the character's picture before. Yes they are a real couple. Sailormoon group cosplay. The hardest shot in the entirety of the day's event to take. Period. The largest group of photographers, casual or not, were gathered around them by the time I noticed. Allen Walker from D.Gray-man. Somehow everyone missed this cosplayer and who she really was...she is this same girl at Streetfest. Millia Rage and Jam Kuradoberi from Guilty Gear series. Some more merchandise from a different booth. However, this merchandise served as a buffer for my true intention... Do yas all hate me now? Come on say so!And that ends my internal shots. Next part deals with the outdoor shots, which are way better. Stay tuned.Internal shots @ Cosfest,Panther
