The promotional CGs were nice. The theme was cool. The girls were attracting......but the first episode of the anime was disappointing. Seriously disappointing. I don't see any strong points of the anime; The art sucks, the music sucks, even the story sucks, mainly because I don't understand a thing of the story. What is it all about? We were introduced to the male protagonist of this anime, Yorito, who has an enthusiasm for photography, and not just normal photography; he'd take photos of the sky. He claims that the sky is always different and they're never the same and there are many types of skies. That's not just it. He can be seen getting up as early as 4 in the morning just to have a glimpse of the sunrise scenery which would would disappear briefly. On this fateful day, he met a girl who was kicking a vending machine. What was a girl like her doing at a time like that? It's 4 in the morning! The girl claimed that she had inserted some money into the machine but nothing came out of it. Yorito decided to help her but by the time he managed to force out a can of tomato soup out of the machine, the girl was nowhere to be seen. It was also because of that Yorito had gone looking for her, making him miss the scenery he wanted to shoot. In school, Yorito told the whole story to a female classmate of his. Mana was her name. As Yorito was looking at the sky with his camera while Mana went over to him, asking him whether he ever gets boring taking photos of the sky. Yorito told her, "There's no way I'd get boring. There are so many changes (to the clouds in the sky)!"Co-incidently, that day was also the birthday of Yorito's younger* elder sister, Aono. Mana wanted to go shopping with him to buy a present for her. However, Yorito had already bought one. The two end up heading towards the hospital after buying a birthday cake. Hospital? Oh yeah, I forgot this, but it seems that Aono's a sick girl ever since she was born. Even her hair's white. In the hospital, we were introduced with another girl who was playing with Aono who happened to be Mana's younger sister. Somehow, this little lass prefers to call her elder sister by her name in which her sister 'chops' her head due to her rudeness. Actually, she's not that rude at all, but rather, she's a lass with quite an etiquette. As they were about to celebrate Aono's birthday, suddenly they hear a noise. It seems that there was a church that was being demolished opposite to the hospital. Yorito wanted to have a look outside but Aono told him not to pull away the curtains. But that didn't stop Yurito from doing it after seeing the sunset scenery outside the ward. Yurito with his camera. At night, Mana had followed Yurito home as she would be cooking dinner for him. She wasn't happy at all with how he had reacted earlier. It was his sister's birthday after all but Yurito didn't care much about it. As a result, Mana told Yurito to go outside and buy some ginger. It was then again Yurito saw the girl he saw a day before. She was kicking the tomato soup vending machine just like the first time he saw her. She was holding a sky-coloured umbrella. Suddenly a breeze blew as the umbrella slipped of her hand. Yurito picked it up and handed it over to her. From here on there's the long, boring story and so I'll skip them. From their conversation, Yurito got to know that the girl's name was Matsuri. Are these people perhaps another Nagi (Negima) and Suiseiseki (Rozen Maiden)?I'll continue from the part where Yurito suspected that Matsuri lived inside the church which was to be demolished. He then went to the church out of curiousity. Coincidentally, Matsuri was also being hunted by some mysterious man. Out of pure luck I guess, Yurito arrived at the scene before the mysterious man were to have his sword laid on Matsuri. The end for the first episode.Well, I guess the only thing that attracted me was the ending sequence. Look at how beautiful Matsuri was. The ED song wasn't that bad either, but I think I need more time to get used to it.
