Soifon finally reveals her bankai.Summary:While Ukitake is still playing around with Lilinette, Omaeda is trying his best to stay out of Barragan's reach. Omaeda tries throwing rocks and using kido against the Espada, but his efforts prove to be fruitless. Barragan gets tired of chasing Omaeda around and takes his axe to finish things off, but at this moment Soifon emerges with her bankai. In her bankai form, Soifon has a large object strapped to her right arm and Omaeda notices that Soifon is wearing some steel sash that prevents her from moving fast. Soifon explains that she didn't want to use her bankai because it didn't fit the philosophies of an assassin. The Squad 2 captain then fires a large missile from her right arm, which causes a massive explosion as it hits Barragan.Why be sneaky if you can take all of the enemy out in one shot?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Soifon's bankai is a missile launcher!? I expected that it would be a ranged weapon, but I thought it might something stealthier like a dart gun instead a giant honking bazooka. Although the bankai is a bit unwieldy, Soifon should still have called on it earlier before she lost her left arm. Besides, a bazooka is just fine as a weapon of assassination depending on the situation. I guess Soifon didn't watch Mr. & Mrs. Smith lol. Anyways, the launcher looks like it only fits one missile, so not sure if Soifon can reload. I doubt she killed Barragan with the first missile, but it should at least have some effect or else Soifon's fight would be pretty hopeless. Barragan has yet to unleash his ultimate attack, so he still has the edge in the fight and the possibility of Soifon being beaten is still pretty high.Oh, and I want to see if Harribel is really finished. Hopefully we'll find out next week.
