Too lazy to find someone? Use a killer robot. Did you guys see our Deadman music post? It is a post. Of music. From Deadman Wonderland. I’d say that’s a pretty good thing to snatch up and assault your eardrums with. I’m a huge fan of the opening song (that ED song might as [...]

Does the Deadman Wonderland OP make anyone else here laugh? It sounds like some generically shitty song I’d hear on the way to high school, or something WWE would choose to promote its pay per views. Seriously, this is a WWE rock song. The way the song makes use of the show’s title is particularly [...]

Well, so this episode did have an amount of strange things that probably were explained in the manga again. Most notably the reason why the guards ended up deciding that the quickest way to kill off a fourteen year old boy with a giant mechanic robot called Necro Macro. I mean, all these prisoners have [...]

Given the brutal lengths taken to turn the so-called "Dog Race" in Deadman Wonderland's last episode up to eleven, it probably goes without saying that plenty of people are asking questions of the prison's promoter in light of all the deaths it caused, be that the inmates or said promoter's superiors.
Regardless of the chaos that made up said event, there are bigger issues at foot in episode

Everyone that Shiro does runs completely against the dark mood of this show. She seems pretty oblivious to what's going on (or just chooses to ignore it) and just lives in her own little world like a young kid.

This episode really shows how twisted the whole Deadman Wonderland concept really is. To have the convicts take part in a fatal contest just to have a chance in surviving is pretty sadistic, but to have it as a spectacle is something else. It may be all smoke and mirrors for the audience, but the [...]

With the appearance of superhuman powers saving him from a fate equal to death at the end of episode one, Ganta has lived to fight another day in his new "home" - but can this kid really last much longer, especially given that last week's "accident" was anything but?
For starters, young Ganta could really do with learning the rules of Deadman Wonderland - something he does during the course of

Someone should tell HanaKana that you never go full retard. Man, I thought I escaped this shit after Fractale ended! Damn it all! Anyway, I don’t have much to say about this episode, because, frankly, it kinda sucked, but I do want to address one thing: How in the fuck did a dumbass like that [...]

Let’s have a friendly race (with guillotines)! If your school was going on a field trip to Deadman Wonderland…would you go? It’s a school trip after all, and your class would go with or without you no matter your decision. If you went, would you enjoy the carnage too? As much as I like to [...]

Episode 02 - Man, this show continues with it’s rather harsh setting, but why is it that it feels like there is little substance aside from the random brutalness? The sheer amount of deaths and cruelty here certainly is attention grabbing, but if you look beyond that, the characters are very generic with little making [...]

"Antidote (Candy)"
There's a psychotic opening sequence included this week, showing a lot of red and featuring some of the other deadmen, plus a little fan-service for both guys and girls. It fits pretty well with the dark themes in the series and the demented amusement park (even if there's no reason for a costume to smile like that).
