In the midst of Stan Lee and Hiroyuki Takei promoting ULTIMO at Comic-Con, how many of you remembered that Stan Lee has another Japan-based project in the works-- namely the BONES anime, Heroman?Well, Comic Vine's Babs caught the ANN post I missed, announcing that the anime-- which, as far as I know, hasn't even been scheduled yet –is being made into a manga. The manga begins in Monthly Shounen Gangan's August 12th issue, features a full-color opening page, and will be drawn by Tamon Ohta, who is best known for...um, Heroman! Yes, he seems to be a relatively unknown mangaka, even in Japan.Anyway, I'm looking forward to being able to hear more about what Heroman is all about-- although Babs has a short plot summary:“Heroman is the tale of a young American boy who encounters and develops a relationship with what he thinks is a robot toy, but is really a giant robot. With the company of the giant robot, the young boy takes off on many adventures and fights a variety of villains along the way.”Good fun! Guess I'll be picking up that issue of Gangan...
