I love episode 16! The scenes with Teito trying to save Frau, and Mikage trying to teach Teito how to smile are so sweet and funny. This episode also explains more about Verloren. Apparently, Teito's 'Father' was the one who stole the Pandora's box in which Verloren had been sealed away. So now, Teito's 'Father' seems to be the bad guy but given how he used to treat Teito, I believe there must be a misunderstanding somewhere.As for episode 17, it tells us more about Frau's past through Bastien. Though naughty and stubborn, Frau was a very kindhearted and talented child. From the way Bastien talks about Frau, it's easy to tell how much Bastien loves his pupil. Hence, I feel really shocked when Bastien suddenly turns evil.What's Hot?Teito tries to save Frau but Frau doesn't want to escape. - The verse Frau chooses to dedicate to Teito is really sweet! ♥Barsburg Scriptures Volume III Verse 17: 'As long as you keep anything about me within you, my heart will be with you!'*Flashback* Mikage tried to teach Teito how to smile but failed. - Oh.. how I miss Mikage!Teito attempts to smile for Frau. - It's a weird but really sincere smile.Hakuren and Teito decide to go back to the crime scene to find clues to save Frau. When they reach, Teito sees women floating around above Hakuren. Hakuren thinks that Teito is trying to scare him as he can't see the women. - How come Teito can see? Is it because of the Eye of Mikhail?Bastien tells Teito and Hakuren about Frau's past. - From the way Bastien talks about Frau, it's easy to tell how much Bastien loves his pupil.Bastien visits Frau in the prison and promises to save him. Frau can sense that something is wrong. - What is Bastien trying to do to save his precious student?After realizing that their Bascules have turned black, Teito and Hakuren suspect that something is wrong with Bastien and decide to look for him. Before they can reach him, they have to pass the guards first. When they finally reach Bastien, Bastien is already in combat/evil mode. - What the hell is happening? Why is Bastien suddenly the bad guy? Evil Bastien looks a little like Aya-tan. Is he really a Warsphile?What's Not?Why does Labrador look so weird in this scene? He's supposed to be the most 'beautiful' of the three.
