As mentioned in the Hellsing review, Animerated is conducting a series of anime reviews. Today, I review the first episode of the Afro Samurai OAV. First, a little background. Afro Samurai is based on the manga series by Takashi Okazai, which first appeared in Nou Nou Hau magazine in September 1999.
