Need to Catch Up? Natsume Yuujinchou Episode 1 Today: Episode 2 - The Dew God's Small Shrine Yesterday's episode, the first, introduced us to Natsume-kun, a young man who is also an orphan, tossed around from home to home, and who can also see youkai (demons-- to put it a bit oversimply). He also gets chased by them every so often, and Natsume learns that his latest home is where his grandmother used to live. She, too, could see demons...but she would bind them against their will or otherwise abuse them. So Natsume goes about setting things right. Which makes me go d'awww! I also want my very own Nyanko-sensei, because he's awesome.
