The latest Crunchyroll simulcast has just been announced and it's the anime adaptation of Omamori Himari. The story revolves around a boy who has a unique bodyguard: a sword-bearing catgirl  spirit, who protects the boy-- Yuuto --because his family wards demons away. (An "omamori" is a protection charm; Yuuto starts out with the charm and then has to "replace" it with Himari, hence the title.)The show will start on Thursday January 7th at 9am on Crunchyroll, and will be available in the United States, Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and the United Arab Emirates. Blah blah blah, paid users get it right away, free users wait a week, etc. Press release pending!Let's see...if they're announced a January 7th title today, maybe Durarara!! (a January 8th title) will be tomorrow?...
