Many of use weren’t even born when Atlas Comics (Seabord) was an active publisher in the US comics industry. The company debuted in 1974 and for a tried to outsell its competitors, namely DC Comics and Marvel. However, the company founded by Marvel Comics founder Martin Goodman lasted barely one year, before going broke in 1975, with many of its titles not lasting more than four issues (The Destructor, Vicki, Wulf the Barbarian and Phoenix).
