Here we see a small portion of the FanimeCon2010 Swap Meet. The Swap Meet took place on Day Zero, the first but unofficial day of the con. Thousands of people gathered to buy, sell, and trade ani-goods. As chaotic as it looks in the picture above, it was actually very organized- most sellers sat on mats with their goods spread out, and aisle ways with traffic directors kept the fans in lines. Video blog footage below from various moments on Day Zero: <object height="505" width="640"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Kedss2nDl84?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;hd=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Kedss2nDl84?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;hd=1&amp;color1=0x006699&amp;color2=0x54abd6" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="505"></embed></object> I cannot stress enough that the FanimeCon2010 swap meet is a GOLDMINE of wonderful goods, and most folks selling things there aren't there to make a killing- they just want to get rid of stuff. I highly implore you to visit next FanimeCon in 2011 if you can- it is more than worth it!
