I wanted to highlight these folks not only for being awesome Doctor Who cosplayers, but also for getting me to jump up and squee like a little girl when they popped around the corner. If you're unsure what series they are from, the series is called "Doctor Who", and has been a long-running sci-fi hit on BBC. Only grabbed two shots of these folks though- it was nearly impossible because an enormous crowd formed almost instantly and getting a clear shot was almost impossible. For those who don't know- the series is about a man only known as "The Doctor", a time-traveling alien who continuously saves the world in different times, realms, dimensions and whatnot. His ship resembles a police public call box because it got stuck that way while blending in while he was in the 1950's. The TARDIS is also bigger on the inside. More info on Doctor Who here. As for myself I'm a pretty big fan. I've been following the series since the new version came out in 2005. Now and then you'll find me on XBOX LIVE or PSN watching Dr. Who on Netflix. If you want to delve deeper into Japanese sub-culture, you like seeing photos taken of conventions, cosplay, and sweet anime goods, and you can't resist the latest buzz from Japan- then you may want to check out the Events or Japan categories to begin, or gaze upon all recent articles.
