Fuck, was this episode good. I came plenty, and that just goes to show how carefully and wonderfully built up this arc was. Not only Kaiji, but the audience as well would not have felt that thrill of success if he had not gone through all that shit the foreman put him through. At first I was pretty nervous when the other foreman stepped in to settle the matter, because I wouldn’t have been too surprised if he was an oppressive asshole as well and called some kind of bullshit ...
