The whole “I’ll buy you two beers every week” scene was well done I thought, and I’m glad he had one more role to play before this arc ends. I’m also reminded that there’s so much crying in this series. Both Kaiji and Endou were going at it in this same episode, which I think didn’t span more than 10 minutes from the anime’s perspective.
