It’s hard to summarize all of the reactions I scribbled down in my notepad, but I’ll try my best. It’s campaign season, nothing more, nothing less. But I didn’t thought episodes 5 and 6 of Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate will be as colorful as a main course in a buffet, or the best painting you will see in an art exhibition. All of the tropes in Politics (such as making-alliances-then-dissolving and campaign speeches), Madoka Magica tributes (oh my goodness Yume why?!), Yurirific & Yaoi-ific objectives (those doujinshi) and news reporting (one does not simply be a robot in front of the interviewee) trample the love story segments of the show, which makes this not your ordinary generic harem anime. Now that Oojima passed the preliminaries, what actions will the current student council president do for his security? What will happen to the harem when Satsuki enters their gate once more? I hope this does not get too confusing or else I might seek the help of my twitter friends. I was somewhat reminded of Korean Drama “Big Thing” which aired on our local TV network (of which I referenced on a post regarding Conflict of Interest) though.
