I often have a bit of a moan on this 'Blog about series taking on the same old clichéd subject matter in episodes, but if I'm honest my complaints tend to go out of the window once I come across a slice-of-life series, particularly if it's a reasonably good one. Thus, you now know why I'm going to give Hidamari Sketch x365 a free pass for featuring a sports day episode - It's a slice-of-life
