The battle between Kyoko and Ruriko finally comes to an end. It's a happy ending. Ruriko gets her role and has a change of heart and Kyoko gets her 100 'Love Me' points from Ruriko. ^^After acting with Ren, Kyoko comes to realize how good Ren is in his acting. She aspires to be like him. So far, Kyoko has been pretty lucky. The roles she acts in require her to do things she has practiced a lot in the past (ie. making a perfect bow). It will be interesting to see how the story develops from here. Will Kyoko get more exposure to acting or will she be posted to help out in the other sections (ie. singing and variety shows)? I look forward to Skip Beat! next week!Episode 7It's Kyoko's turn to act and perform the tea ceremony but her foot pain is getting unbearable. She recalls her childhood. Sho's mother used to tell her that no matter what she has to smile when she's in front of a guest. That gives her strength and she decides to treat Ren like her guest. When the camera rolls, she manages to put on a perfect smile.Kyoko has learned how to perform tea ceremony from Sho's mother before and she does it perfectly this time round. Her perseverance and seriousness touch Ren and he decides to act seriously with her.Kyoko is shocked by his acting skills and she realizes that the expressions that she give are all led by Ren's acting. In the middle of the act, Kyoko cannot bear the pain anymore and she loses her consciousness.Ruriko seems to be touched by Kyoko's seriousness and perseverance too. She recalls her debut and how serious and persevering she was then. She decides to retrieve back those feelings and be a serious actor. She asks the director for the chance to act again. He obviously agrees as that's the original plan, but he also tells her that he will be very strict with her.Ruriko then visits Kyoko and gives her 100 'Love Me' points!Kyoko is shocked and clueless about why Ruriko gives her full marks.Ruriko says that she likes Kyoko slightly more now and..Kyoko is even more shocked! (haha..)The director feels bad about giving the role to Ruriko (since that's the original plan), so he gives a framed photograph of pretty Kyoko as a form of compensation. Kyoko, not knowing the reason behind the gift, is very happy! The director apologizes to Kyoko for not giving her the role and reveals that her acting is actually as good as Ruriko's. Upon hearing that, Kyoko disagrees and feels that the expressions she gave during the act were actually led by Ren, not by her own abilities. The director tells her that this happens to everyone who acts alongside Ren and Kyoko feels disgusted upon hearing that. She feels like a puppet who is unable to control her own actions.Ren and Yashiro escort Kyoko back to her room. Yashiro asks her when she had learned tea ceremony before. When she heard that, she fell as she recalled her training days with Sho's mother. Then, she realized that Sho's mother was actually training her to be Sho's wife as the tea ceremony is only taught to daughters-in-law in Sho's family. She suddenly felt like an empty shell. She then resolves herself to act as well as Ren.In her room, the makeup artist wants to remove her makeup but she refuses to. Ren then reminds her about Sho's Whitening advertisement and if she does not remove her makeup, she will have bad skin and will never beat Sho.She unwilling agrees! (haha.. so sad for Kyoko)The next morning, Kyoko bumps into Ren in the hotel lobby.Ren asks her if Sho is still the motivation behind her desire to enter the entertainment industry. Kyoko answers YES and she gets another stamp - Minus 10 points!Of course, Kyoko is p*ssed with Ren!! (who wouldn't? even though he meant well)
