In this episode, we are brought into Maka's confusing world. She's full of doubt and angst. I feel a little irritated watching her this way. It's good that she finally knows what she wants to do. This means no more of Maka's angst! \(^.^)/Other than Maka's angst, I like this episode. It's a buildup to the inevitable Shibusen (Shinigami) vs Kishin battle, which I am totally looking forward to. With less than 10 episodes to go, I wonder how will the battle start, go and end. Will Shinigami fight Kishin again? Whose side is Stein exactly on? There are so many questions going through my mind now!There's only one shot of Kid in this episode, which is a little disappointing for me as Kid is my favorite character. However, according to the preview, Kid will be up against a clown looking fella in the next episode. Can't wait!!Clown vs Kid!SummaryThe entire Shibusen is getting ready for the battle against Arachnophobia. Spirit announces the battle plan to everyone. Their objectives are:1. To defeat Kishin.2. To destroy the relay points for the Amplifier of Madness machine.3. To eliminate Arachne and Arachnophobia.Before heading out, anti-madness pills are distributed to all Shibusen members.Maka finds it difficult to focus on what her father is announcing. She feels confused and is still very bothered by the fact that Shibusen lets Medusa off and focuses on Arachne and Kishin instead. She irritably walks out of the classroom and bumps into Sid-sensei. She asks him about Crona. As a man (actually should be zombie) who can't keep secrets, he tells her that Crona has been expelled. He also reveals that Marie has resigned from her teaching position and Crona and Marie are heading towards Medusa now.Hearing that, Maka feels more depressed. She's at a loss. She wants to be there for Crona but can’t as she has to take part in Shibusen’s battle against Arachnophobia, along with Soul, Black Star and Tsubaki.Shibusen sends out different units to the 6 relay points and the main Arachnophobia base, Baba Yaga's Castle. Mosquito reports to Arachne and she immediately suspects that Medusa is the one who reveals their location to Shibusen. She then gives orders to kill everyone from Shibusen.Meanwhile, Medusa is observing everything from her crystal ball, with Stein. (v.v) I hope that Stein is not serious about helping Medusa.The battle starts with Giriko sending out a troupe of gigantic monsters to attack Shibusen members. Out of no where, Justin appears and easily defeats the gigantic monsters. Giriko is happy to see a familiar face and we should be having our 3rd installment of Justin vs Giriko in the next episode.Even at the battlefield, Maka is still feeling lost and confused. There are so many things happening but she can't seem to focus on anything. Soul reveals to Maka that only Crona and Marie can do anything they want to Medusa as they are no longer part of Shibusen and that means that they are not restricted by the deal Shibusen has with Medusa. Soul then asks her what she wants to do. At that moment, Maka comes to a realization. She decides to go after Crona, leaving Black Star and Tsubaki to take part in the battle, which has already begun. Marie and a determined Crona are still in the desert, on their way to meet Medusa.So where is Kid?
